3 Diving The crew of Rocio del Mar will be glad to help you in any way possible to make your visit to the Explore Peninsula an unforgettable experience. This destination explores the entire Baja peninsula. This is a one of a kind 13 day trip that travels port to port from San Jose del Cabo to Puerto Peñasco, Mexico or from Puerto Peñasco, Mexico to San Jose del Cabo, Mexico. This trip includes the variety of the Northern Sea of Cortez to the larger pelagics of the Southern Sea of Cortez. Passengers can explore and kayak. Divers enjoy 4 dives per day and 2 to 4 night dives. All of our trips have three dive masters on board to lead dives and assist divers; as well as two zodiac drivers, vigilantly watching for bubbles and retrieving divers upon surfacing. We provide 80 cubic ft., aluminum tanks that are both Din & Yoke compatible. Before your Trip Please forward your passenger information forms, releases and waivers along with a copy of your passport to our office no later than 60 days prior to your trip date. The more information we have available the better we can accommodate the needs of our passengers. We have 10 cabins; 2 with full beds and a twin bunk, 2 cabins with double beds and 6 cabins with 2 twin beds each. All our cabins have air conditioning and private bathroom and shower. We have plenty of space to relax during surface intervals, including a salon, covered sitting area and the

Rocio del Mar reserves the right to allocate staterooms as needed. Getting to the Boat from Puerto Peñasco. The Rocio del Mar is located at the Marina Fonatur in Puerto Peñasco, Mexico. Marina Fonatur is approximately a four hour drive from Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix Sky Harbor airport is the most convenient and closest airport to fly into to reach our port. If you require transportation services to the Marina we can coordinate that for you through Head Out to Rocky Point. This shuttle service has 15 passenger white vans that haul trailers for gear. The cost is $75.00 for the one way trip per person payable directly to them. If you require this service please indicate this on your passenger forms. Getting to the Boat from San Jose del Cabo. Rocio del Mar is located at the new Marina in Puerto Los Cabos in San Jose del Cabo. All guests must travel to San Jose del Cabo (SJD). Guests are responsible for their own transportation to or from the boat. The marina is about 25 minutes from the airport. The most economical way from the airport to the marina; is to take a collectivo (shuttle) And a taxi. The collective (shuttle) charges $15.00 U.S. dollars per person. Once you collect your bags and leave customs you will enter a lobby. You will find a stand that says taxi. A taxi ride from the airport to the marina is about $60.00 US dollars. You can ask for a collectivo at this same stand. A collectivo is a very nice shuttle that takes about 9 passengers and does a hotel drop. Since you re going to San Jose you will be dropped off first. You can have the collectivo drop you off at the hotel Tropicana. The hotel can then request a taxi to the marina Los Cabos. You shouldn't pay more than $10.00 US dollars. It's about a 15 minute ride from the hotel to the marina. By choosing these two methods of transportation it should cost you about $25.00 US. If you choose just to get a taxi from the airport to the marina it should cost about $60.00 US.

5 Once aboard the Rocio del Mar, you will be shown to your stateroom and dive station. Our dive master will ask you to provide your scuba diving certification cards and proof of dive insurance. Proof of diving certification and dive insurance is required per our policy. Without Proof you will not be able to dive. NO EXCEPTIONS!! Arrival North to South (from Puerto Peñasco to San Jose del Cabo (SJD) Passengers must arrive at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport no later than 11:00 a.m., on the trip departure date. If you choose the shuttle service, Head Out to Rocky Point will pick up all passengers between Noon and 1:00 p.m. at Terminal 4, door 8 on the south side out of curb of the airport. All passengers must have reached the Marina and be aboard the Rocio del Mar between 5:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. (If you arrive earlier you can spend your time site seeing or shopping). Departure from Puerto Peñasco occurs at approximately 6:00 p.m. At the end of your trip the crew will call taxis to get everyone to the airport or hotels depending on where you want to go. Arrival South to North (from San Jose del Cabo (SJD) to Puerto Peñasco) Please arrive on the first day of the trip at the San Jose del Cabo (SJD) airport and you may board the boat between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Departure from the San Jose del Cabo Marina occurs

Return Puerto Peñasco (from San Jose del Cabo to Puerto Peñasco) Explore Baja South to North trips will end in Puerto Peñasco. A Continental breakfast will be provided the last morning of the trip and guest will disembark by 7:00 a.m. If you require transportation services from the Marina to Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport we can coordinate that for you through Head Out to Rocky Point. This shuttle service has 15 passenger white vans that haul trailers for gear. The cost is $75.00 per person one-way payable directly to Head Out to Rocky Point. If you require this service please indicate this on your passenger information forms. The shuttle HEAD OUT TO ROCKY POINT will pick up passengers promptly upon disembarking. Please remember to book your departing flight from Phoenix, AZ no earlier than 3:00 p.m. Return San Jose del Cabo (from Puerto Peñasco to San Jose del Cabo) Explore Baja North to South will end in San Jose del Cabo (SJD). The boat returns to the Marina during the evening and passengers will be ready to depart the morning of the last day of your trip. A Continental breakfast will be provided the last morning of the trip and guest must disembark by 8:30 a.m. on the last day of our trip. At the end of your trip the crew can call taxis to return everyone to the airport or hotel depending on where you want to go. Suggested gear & clothing Besides your normal dive gear, one dive computer per diver is required on all of our dive trips. Plus, you are required to bring a safety sausage and a whistle. We absolutely recommend wetsuits on our trips. The Sea of Cortez is a dynamic body of water and this exploration covers

7 800 miles and the water temperatures can change significantly from day to day. Water temperature ranges from 75 degrees Fahrenheit in the Northern Sea of Cortez and in the mid to high 80 s at the Southern end. Bring a light jacket and do not forget your hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Entertainment Feel free to bring your own books, cd's and DVD s. We have a collection of these onboard and the crew especially appreciates new entertainment. Contact Information The Rocio del Mar maintains daily contact with our office via radio communications. We are ready for constant communication in the event of an emergency. Your family and friends are welcome to contact our office at in case of an emergency. Our office staff will immediately assist your family and friends in getting messages to you. We also have a satellite phone on board for your use and emergency needs. Single Supplement All of our prices are based on double occupancy; this means you will share a stateroom with a person of the same gender. If you would like your own stateroom the cost is 1 ½ times the regular price. Special Occasions If you are celebrating any special occasion while on board the Rocio del Mar, such as a birthday, engagement, anniversary or honeymoon, please notify our office know prior to your departure so we can be prepared to celebrate with you. Other Important Information. There are no port fees, when you choose the Rocio del Mar for your diving vacation; these are all included in the price of your trip. Price includes meals, snacks and regular drinks, beer and wine. You are welcome to bring your own if you have a personal preference. ***Proof of diving certification and dive insurance is required per our policy. Shuttle fee of $75.00 per person paid directly to shuttle service or any other method of transportation. National Park Fees of $28.00 per person due on the boat or invoice. Mandatory contribution to the hyperbaric chamber $15.00 due on the boat or invoice. Nitrox (EAN) fee of $ per person, per week due on the boat or invoice. Crew Gratuity of Trip Cost 10-15% per person recommended. **Fuel Surcharge: If implemented at the time of trip date.** Please contact our office if you would like to pay these fees prior to your trip. Rocio Del Mar Liveaboard includes 16% Mexican tax in the price of our trips. Fuel Surcharge: Rocio del Mar has the right to implement a fuel surcharge on all trips in the event the cost of fuel surpasses 16 pesos a liter. Should this occur, there will be a fuel surcharge to each client of $100. For every additional peso per liter there will be an additional $40 per passenger increase. National Park Fees of $28.00 per person due on the boat or can be added to the invoice. Hypebaric Chamber of $15.00 per person due on the boat or can be added to the invoice. Nitrox fee of $ per person, per week due on the boat or can be added to the invoice. Gratuity fee of 10-15% per person recommended. Passports: A copy of your passport prior to trip is required. Dive Insurance and Diving Certificate is required. You must show proof of insurance and dive certification when boarding. Without proof you will not be able to dive. NO EXPECTIONS!! Prices include three meals per day, snacks, beverages including soft drinks, juice and water, beer and wine. Tanks, weights and weight belts are also provided. We ask that you bring your own wetsuits, masks and fins. Our rental gear prices are as follows: BCD, Regulator, and Dive Computer $50.00 per week. There is secured parking available in Puerto Peñasco for $5 per day right next to where the boat is docked. Normal full boat capacity is 20 divers. Trip minimum is 10 divers. The Crew of Rocio del Mar reserves the right to allocate room assignments as needed.

9 UNFORESEEN EVENTS: If departure of your live-aboard cruise is not advisable or may be dangerous to the life or health of the passengers, crew, or to the boat, due to conditions such as: bad weather, perils of the sea, Acts of God, political incidents, force majeure then the captain has the sole discretion to delay or cancel the cruise departure. Likewise, during the cruise if bad weather, acts of god, or force majeure (i.e. Hurricane) events occur that make it inadvisable for passengers to land, or for the boat to enter port then the captain shall have the right to delay or postpone sailing until conditions allow, and make adjustments to the itinerary to different ports that may include but not limited to cancellation of calls to ports, or the re-sequencing of island visits. For this reason we highly recommend travel/cancellation insurance.
