Emergency and short-term shelter: Average stay s a lttle over a month, some stay up to 5 months. Emergency Bed Servce 3 beds avalable from 10pm-8am, for chroncally homeless youth under 18 who don t ft n the Emergency Servces Program. Youth can stay for 3-5 days, food and shower provded. Transtonal Housng: 18 unts of on-ste housng for youth ages Independent Lvng Housng: 24 unts of permanent, supportve housng throughout the Twn Ctes, for youth ages (16-year-olds may be allowed), ncludng pregnant and parentng youth. Health Program: Lcensed publc health nurse on staff to conduct health assessments, educate on sexual health, nutrton, and ftness ssues, and offer referrals for dental, medcal, or mental health or for chemcal dependency treatment. No Compromse Teen Pregnancy Preventon & Youth Development Program provdes educatonal and preventatve materals desgned to nform youth of healthy sex choces. COHO Lawn Mantenance provdes job opportuntes for 30 youth durng the summer, whch nclude compettve salares above mnmum wage and an opportunty to learn about busness management, team work, punctualty, and leadershp sklls. Knshp North: A formal mentorng program whch matches youth ages 5-15 wth adult mentors. Independent Lvng Sklls: Seres of sklls classes avalable to youth ages who have been or are currently n an out-of-home placement (such as foster care).
