4 Designed for Absolute Comfort At the Ajman Palace, rooms have been designed with an emphasis on modern convenience married to a sense of place conveyed by the Arabesque touches in the artwork, the use of mashrabiya decorative fretwork, rich brocades and subtle gold touches. With 242 rooms, suites and serviced apartments, the hotel offers accommodation for every requirement, giving the option of sea-facing or city-facing views, king beds or twin beds, balcony or terrace. There are also 24 inter-connected rooms and suite combinations that can be transformed in to family units with a Deluxe Suite and Grand Suite joined by a private lobby and shared balcony available on every floor from the second to the sixth. Half of the room inventory comprises twin bed configuration with the rest featuring large king beds, while some 44 per cent of the rooms have Sea views and 56 per cent look towards the Corniche and cityscape. There are also three rooms fully equipped for handicapped guests. In total, the Ajman Palace features 8 rooms types on six floors, and offers the additional option of 58 Lifestyle Club rooms on the sixth and seventh

6 A range of Elegant Venues From exclusive VIP meetings to grand weddings, The Ajman Palace can accommodate every requirement with an array of meeting and reception venues, all backed up with dedicated service staff and catering facilities. Pride of place goes to the ballroom, the largest in the Northern Emirates at an impressive 1,200 sq metres, located on the first floor and easily accessible by escalator from the lobby. The impression of space is enhanced with a ceiling height of 5.4 metres, while a full-size stage is another unique feature of the venue. Sumptuously decorated with warm colours contrasting with the Arabesque detail found throughout the hotel, the ballroom is complemented by a grand foyer for pre-event gatherings as well as two terraces of 20 sq metres and 65 sq metres where guests can enjoy the balmy weather during the winter and spring months. It can accommodate up to 1,200 delegates theatrestyle for business events and presentations, as well as host large social receptions for up 1200 cocktail style or seated dinners for 900.

7 For smaller events, the ballroom is divisible in to three sections, two with capacity for 370 theatre-style, and a third capable of hosting up to 300, although the latter benefits from access to the two terraces. In addition, the foyer, which extends a massive 740 sq metres and links to the dedicated Conference Hall and other meeting rooms, can also be used as an exhibition area as well as a pre-function gathering area, conveniently located overlooking the lobby and its magnificently decorated dome. At 340 sq metres, it is suitable for conferences and other presentations, with seating capacity of 300 and again a 5.4 metre floor-to-ceiling measurement making for an open and airy environment. For intimate events, The Ajman Palace has three meeting rooms adjacent to the Conference Hall, all connecting on to a foyer of 120 sq metres. Meeting Room 1 is 70 sq metres in size, and has capacity for up to 50 delegates in a theatre-style configuration, while Meeting Room 2 is the biggest of the three at 95 sq metres and can accommodate up to 95. Meeting Room 3 is more intimate, taking up to 40 delegates at maximum capacity, within an area of 53 sq metres, while there is scope for a fourth meeting venue at the Majlis, a 98 sq metres area that has multiuse functions. For the most prestigious events, when dedicated facilities are required to accommodate dignitaries, The Ajman Palace provides additional venues, conveniently located on the ground floor adjacent to the hotel lobby. Here, a VIP Function Room of 260 sq metres is appropriately decorated in the finest Arabic style with mashrabiya and richly brocaded furnishings providing a suitable ornate and imposing environment. In addition, there is a VIP Pre-Function Room of 160 sq metres that can be connected to the bigger room or set up in dedicated style as a Majlis.
