6 WORDS from the president

7 Nurturing Design Excellence The Academic Year 2014/2015 has been a year of spectacular achievement for our students. For the first time, a Dublin Institute of Design student has won a major international design competition and others have been named as finalists. While this success is ultimately down to the individual student s creativity and hard work, it is also a reflection of the development of the Institute, the strength of its programmes and the dedication of each of our lecturers and support staff who continue to work tirelessly. With success comes confidence and I am confident that the 2015/16 academic year will see further positive developments for Dublin Institute of Design. It is my pleasure to thank our excellent staff, students, past and present, the general public and industry for their continued support. Join us and Design Your World Joe Connolly President Design Education since 1991
