22 22 VES 3 Overview Project proposal of Deusto Technology Foundation (Deusto tech): VTT an invited partner A platform for intelligent, ubiquitous and interoperable transportation services: Consists of in-vehicle embedded hardware, software, and communications within vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-toinfrastructure (V2I) and vehicle internal (VI) networks (VANETs, Internet) Includes tools for developing, testing and deploying the actual services Utilised in both practical and entertainment usage Extension of smart spaces into public and private transportation: Smart-M3 may be one candidate solution for SW platform

25 25 Summary Industry-driven approach is extremely important in ARTEMIS and therefore industry participation and industry lead definition of objectives and targets is needed The presentation summarises five of the active preparations at VTT that can offer a framework and co-operation for partners VTT is also willing to discuss about offering its competencies in other areas that are considered important by Finnish industry in ARTEMIS context
