It is a ew route to a career i professioal accoutacy for those who prefer practical traiig to a full-time college course. It also provides ew optios for employees who wish to work i a fiace role. Appretices graduate with the Diploma for Accoutig Techicias, a atioally ad iteratioally recogised qualificatio. Govermet fudig for the programme icludes studet registratio fees, tuitio fees ad exam fees. Applicats must be at least 18 years of age o or before July 1 i the year of etry. Applicats must have a pass grade i Leavig Certificate Eglish ad Maths at Ordiary Level to be cosidered for the appreticeship. Leavig Certificate Accoutacy is ot a requiremet. Appretices commece with a two-year work cotract, with wages paid by the employer. It is at the employer s discretio to ehace the etry criteria for selectio.
