1 AUTUMN Get to know your region as well as other expats RECEPTION International Community Triangle Region would like to invite you and your family to an Autumn Reception in the Triangle Region. It s a great opportunity to meet and network with other expats, international employees and their families. Over the years, this event has taken place in Middelfart, Billund, Kolding, Vejle and Vejen, and this year it will be in Fredericia on Sunday, September 27th from 10 AM 2 PM. We will meet up at Tøjhuset Gothersgade 34, 7000 Fredericia Read the program and the activities you can choose between in the following pages. If you wish to attend free of charge, please sign up no later than September 18th at There are 200 tickets for this event, so make sure that you sign up soon. If you ve signed up and for some reason can t make it, please let us know by September 24th at the latest. There is a no-show fee of DKK 100. 3 SAILING WITH THE SHIP AVENTURA We welcome you on board the ship Aventura and a trip which is an outstanding nature experience. We will enjoy the beautiful Lillebælt (the Little Belt), the view over Fredericia and the amazing ramparts. Come along and experience Fredericia from the sea. This trip will have a duration of approximately 1 hour. Strollers and prams are allowed on board. There are 80 tickets available for this activity!

4 ACTIVITIES FOR BOTH GROWN UPS AND KIDS IN THE FREDERICIA C AREA The new part of town in Fredericia is called FredericiaC and opens up the entire city towards Lillebælt (The Little Belt). FredericiaC is one of Denmark s most prestigious town development projects in recent years. Experience the new canal - the first of three canals - and see how the coming recreational barrier along the quays will protect Fredericia from rising sea levels. Whether you come alone or with children, you will have a nice time in the cosy environment and unique atmosphere. Help paint a monster bird In the Container City workshop you can help decorate a 3 meter high monster bird with materials that we have picked up in nature. You make art - and clean up nature at the same time. Parents are welcome. Catching crabs and campfire We fish for crabs & bake bread on sticks over fire in Grow Your City. Parents are welcome. Yoga and fairy tales Storytelling with little yoga exercises in the Container City. Parents can join too.

5 Fotograf Peder B. Pedersen A GUIDED TOUR ON THE RAMPARTS OF FREDERICIA The best preserved Fortification in Northern Europe. Today it forms a peaceful and attractive park surrounding the oldest part of Fredericia, but it was originally built to defend the intended capital city of Denmark. We will also pay a visit to the White Water Tower, 44 meters above sea level, and enjoy the panoramic view of Fredericia, the ramparts and the Little Belt. This tour will have a duration of approximately 1.5 hours. There are 80 tickets available for this guided tour!
