Overview of Jobs2web Jobs2web Introduction Jobs2web helps recruiters automate and optimize Web 2.0 interaction. We have structured our solution into two parts so that our customers can immediately begin to benefit from their investment. Part 1. A Platform for core Web 2.0 compatibility, highly scalable technology to support ongoing job feeds, Talent Community subscription and management, the Recruiting Dashboard and Search Engine Optimization. Part 2. A set of add-on modules and recruiting packages that leverage the Platform s core components to drive Social Networking, Employee Referrals, Diversity, Hard to Fill, and other targeted initiatives. Interaction with the Jobs2web platform is divided into two user groups. Job seekers compose the largest segment, navigating through social networks, career sites, job boards, and Talent Landing Pages, which are managed by the Recruitment Marketing Platform (RMP). Client users can manage and view their data through the RMP Recruiting Dashboard. This guide focuses on both user groups interaction with the Jobs2web Recruitment Marketing Platform (RMP). This notepad graphic is used to alert you to important information that is important and/or has an impact on the use of the system SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 4

Jobs2web Workflow 1. Jobs2web collects jobs from your career site and applies rules to prepare jobs for distribution and improved marketing. Jobs are collected and imported into the RMP on a nightly basis. Please consult with your primary Jobs2web contact to determine the schedule of job collection. 2. Jobs collected in Step 1 are processed through a custom rules engine configured for each client, which segments jobs into pre-defined categories and SEO locations that enhance reporting and marketing through different channels. Job description, location and title are used to place the job on Talent Landing Pages, which are used to attract and engage job seekers. Once jobs have been processed, Jobs2web distributes jobs through multiple channels that include, but are not limited to: Social Networks, Job Aggregators, Job Boards, Search Engines and Talent Landing Pages. 3. Job content from Step 3 can be easily found by job seekers using their preferred media, which can include s, RSS feeds, job listings, pay per click listings, and many more. From these media, job seekers are drawn into the Jobs2web platform, which provides unified marketing and data tracking SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 5

4. Job Seekers are presented with targeted content based on their job interest and can join your private Talent Community, share information with friends, or apply directly to the job in your company s Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 5. Job Seekers are effortlessly transferred from the Jobs2web platform to your company s ATS system, where they can apply to jobs. Immediately afterward, they are tracked via the hiring process. Final Step Measure Throughout the five steps above, Jobs2web is continually capturing data and relating it to the metrics that are most important to your recruiting efforts as well as source effectiveness. System Requirement: A Job Seeker s computer must have cookies enabled in order to capture tracking information. If cookies are disabled, the Job Seeker s information is not captured SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 6

Understanding Referral Source Jobs2web optimizes your interactive recruiting strategy by driving candidates directly to your organization s career site, bypassing the need to promote open positions on job boards. The Jobs2web Recruiting Dashboard allows you to view subscribers, members and applicants by source. As Job Seekers interact with the RMP through s, links, and web pages, Jobs2web s advanced source engine tracks the source of traffic and segments the data into comprehensible source categories. Traffic is then separated into major Types and Engines. When applicable, the actual source information and campaign data is also presented. The scenario below takes place for each visitor, new member and applicant: The Jobs2Web RMP presents job data through internet marketing channels. This example will focus on jobs found on a search engine. Job Seeker does a search on Google for Accounting Jobs in Minneapolis. User finds a link to Accounting Jobs for the client on the Jobs2Web RMP and navigates to the site. 1. RMP captures the visitor source as Google.com and Keywords Accounting Jobs in Minneapolis 2. RMP categorizes the visitor source as Type Search Engine and Engine Google 3. RMP associates the Keywords and Source data with the visitor and appropriate job data. The Jobs2Web RMP presents job data through internet marketing channels. This example will focus on jobs found on a job aggregator. Job Seeker does a search on juju for Accounting Jobs in Minneapolis. User finds a link to Accounting Jobs for the client posted from the Jobs2Web RMP and navigates to the site. 1. RMP captures the visitor source as juju.com and Keywords Accounting Jobs in Minneapolis 2. RMP categorizes the visitor source as Type Job Aggregator and Engine juju 3. Display Shows the summary view of the result set based on the filters. You can click on the user s first name, last name or to view the detailed user record. 2. Apply Tracking Dynamic Source Tracking is used to pass source codes from the Jobs2web Platform into your organization s applicant tracking system for job applicants.. Your organization can configure different source codes for each Applicant Tracking System. Dynamic Source Tracking must be turned on and initially configured by Jobs2web. Setup defines the target Applicant Tracking system(s), appropriate URL parameter, and source codes. a. Under the Apply Tracking tab in the Tools section, the system will display the configured Applicant Tracking System targets and existing source tags. b. Each Applicant Tracking System that has been configured by Jobs2web will appear in its own section with a list corresponding source codes. Completed Source Codes c. Source codes consist of 3 components that can be configured: I. Group Source Defines the major categories of sources. For example, Search Engine and Job Board are two of the thirteen selections. II. Exact Source Defines the unique location/company of the source. For example, under the Group Source of Search Engine, an Exact Source would be Google. III. Tracking Code Code that is passed into your organization s Applicant Tracking System. These codes must match the codes set up in the Applicant Tracking System. d. Updating the source code list. You should build all the source codes for an existing Group Source before moving to the next group SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 60

Step 1: Select the Group Source Select Group Source Step 2: Select the Exact Source Select Exact Source If the exact source does not exist, please contact Jobs2web to have that domain added. Jobs2web maintains an extensive list and is constantly adding new source domains. Step 3: Enter Tracking Code. Code must match the code from the Applicant Tracking System Enter Tracking Code I. For each Group Source, your organization can define a list of primary Exact Sources and set an additional Exact Sources to All. This configuration 2012 SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 61

allows your organization to create a bucket/group for the remaining Exact Sources. The Jobs2web Platform will first try to resolve the Source Code by matching the source to the Exact Source, but if no match is found, the system will try to match the All category for the Group Source, and if again no match is found the default tag will be J2W. e. Considerations when using Dynamic Source Tagging. I. Initial setup of Dynamic Source Tagging is done by Jobs2web. If you wish to use this feature, please contact your Client Strategy Director. II. Source Codes in Jobs2web will need to match the Source Codes in your Applicant Tracking System. It is recommended that clients understand the ability and impact of adding or using Source Codes with their Applicant Tracking System prior to configuration. III. Source codes are tagged to the activity when an individual applies to a job. If a change is made to the source code list, it will not affect existing data stored on the Jobs2web Platform or Applicant Tracking System. 3. URL Builder The URL Builder allows you to create a URL with tracking codes for use when manually posting on job boards, niche job sites, social network blogs, and other online and offline sources. a. Jobs2web URL: Copy or Paste URL from Jobs2web site. i. Https is supported for sites that have https set up on their talent community and the URL contains talentcommunity or subscribe. b. Custom Campaign: Enter Campaign. Spaces and illegal characters in campaign names are automatically replaced with underscores. c. Source: Select referrer type and referrer engine. A shortcut is available for select social networks. User can also select no source by choosing None. d. Campaign URL: New URL is auto generated and can be copied. e. Campaign HTML Link: New URL is HTML encoded and can be copied. f. Short URL: Uses Google and bit.ly for social network links and can be copied. g. QR Code: If a Short URL is generated a QR code can be created and saved as an image file SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 62

TIP: If you are setting up multiple jobs for the same campaign and/or source, just paste the job URL, copy the new generated URL, and repeat. There is no need to clear or reenter the same settings. A new URL is auto-generated. URL Generator FAQs If I have a source that I continue to use with the URL Builder, can I eventually automate this process? Yes, Jobs2web can set up and manage automated campaigns to major boards, niche boards, and aggregators. If you find that you are posting to the same source daily, call your Client Strategy Director to set up a managed and automated campaign. Managed campaigns can also be created for standard SEM and social networks. What happens if the source that I want to post to isn t in the referral engine list? The list of sources in the URL builder is the most common manual posting sources. Most sources will automatically be categorized correctly in the Jobs2web system without tracking tags. If you do not see a matching source, you can select None in the referral engine list. What happens if I post a source tracking URL to the wrong source? Any visitors that are directed to the Jobs2web site will be attributed to the source code that is in the URL. The Jobs2web system always gives priority to the landing page and source tracking code over the referral source URL. Can I use the URL builder with other solutions? Yes, the URL builder can also be used with Google Analytics. The utm_source and utm_campaign parameters also are accurately passed in the Google Analytics stats. 4. Client Default Role- This drop down allows the user to assign a default role for users added to the Talent Community. The drop down menu will display all active roles configured in the Dashboard. Miscellaneous Craigslist Craigslist is a centralized network of online communities that feature free online classified advertisements, with sections devoted to jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, gigs, résumés, and discussion forums. Craigslist s source of income is from paid job ads in select markets. Craigslist prohibits third parties from making posts on their network; this means Jobs2web is not allowed to make posts on behalf of our clients. However, the Jobs2web Recruiting Dashboard contains functionality to help expedite job postings and track their progress. Useful Links on Craigslist Description Link Terms of Use FAQ Job Posting FAQ Looking up your post in the listings post_in_the_listings Craigslist does not publish a consolidated list of rules. Below is a list of items that could prevent you from posting to Craigslist. Posting the same item before deleting the old item Posting the same item more than once in 48 hours Posting the same item in more than one market or category in 48 hours Posting more than 25 jobs into any account in 48 hours 2012 SuccessFactors, Inc. 66 There are times when your posts appear to be visible, but are not visible to anyone other than the original poster. This phenomenon is often referred to as ghosting. As the poster, you will be able to see your post by using the Posting ID or URL, but looking at the list of jobs in the category you posted to will NOT show a link to your job. Following the rules posted by Craigslist does not always guarantee your post will not be ghosted SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 66

Posting a job into Craigslist Clients can use Jobs2web to track postings and quickly copy and paste the pre-formatted job data into Craigslist. 1. Under the Craigslist tab in the Job Section, the system will display search criteria to find jobs that are posted or need to be posted to Craigslist. 2. To view/manage a job for Craigslist, enter the search criteria and select Go. Job search for Craigslist 3. Check the job that needs to be posted and select Post. Jobs2web will display the details for the selected job. Once the job is posted you can view the details simply by clicking on the Post link. Select multiple jobs by checking individual rows or all jobs with the Select All button. You can also view the Craigslist posting by clicking on the CL Posting ID associated with each job. Search results for Craigslist jobs a. Clicking on the Posting ID associated with the Job under the CL Posting ID column will bring you to the Craigslist post. The link will only be valid if the correct post URL is captured in the Craigslist detail documented below. 4. Transferring data from Jobs2web into Craigslist is accomplished by using the copy function next to each posting section. Jobs2web automatically formats the data with relevant HTML tags and URLs optimized for Craigslist SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 67

Password Reset for Administrators Password Reset allows a Client Administrator to reset their password through another administrator in order to regain access to the Recruiting Dashboard. The Client Administrator must first contact another administrator and request a password reset. The administrator receiving the request then logs into the Recruiting Dashboard and navigates to the Edit User page for the requesting Client Administrator (noted in Section 4 of User Management). Next, the administrator clicks a button labeled Reset Password located near the password field, which sends an to the requesting Client Administrator with a URL link to reset the password. The requesting Client Administrator can then open the link in this and begin the Password Reset process. The following rules apply for password resets: 1. The link in the Password Reset is only valid for 72 hours. If the requestor does not change their password within that timeframe, the request will become invalid. 2. Password length is a minimum of 8 characters and a maximum of 20 characters. 3. Password composition allows alphanumeric and special characters, and is case sensitive. 4. The password is required to contain at least one alpha character and one numeric or special character. 5. Passwords will allow up to three consecutive repeating characters. 6. Double entry of passwords is required. 7. Passwords will expire every 60 days. 8. You may have three consecutive failed attempt logins in 24 hours before the account is locked, requiring a reset. 9. New passwords must be different than the previous four. 10. Upon reset, a Reset Password is sent to the Admin User's account. The 60 day rule is also reset. If the Admin User's account passes authentication on the 90 day rule, but fails authentication on the 60 day rule, the Admin User is displayed the following message: "Due to Password Security Rules, your password has suspended. A time sensitive Reset Password has been generated to your account that is on file to start the reset process." Password Reset s 2012 SuccessFactors, Inc. All rights reserved. 69
