3 Introduction Thank you for choosing GlobalMeet Audio as your Cisco WebEx teleconferencing service provider. GlobalMeet Audio for Cisco WebEx is an integrated solution that brings superior voice quality to every WebEx meeting. It allows your WebEx and WebEx Collaboration Meeting Room (CMR) users to join online meetings and conferences from any desk or mobile phone (dial-in) and to connect to meeting audio via their computers (VoIP). On the go? GlobalMeet Audio for Cisco WebEx is available for iphone and Android devices. It works with your WebEx mobile apps, giving you the same superior voice quality you expect from GlobalMeet Audio. Using GlobalMeet Audio with Your WebEx Account In order to use GlobalMeet Audio for Cisco WebEx, each user must set up dial-in conferencing for their individual WebEx or WebEx CMR meeting accounts. To use computer audio, your WebEx sites must be enabled for the GlobalMeet Audio VoIP feature. We will work with Cisco on your behalf and will notify you when configuration is complete. In addition, your WebEx users must install the GlobalMeet Hybrid Audio for WebEx app on their Windows or Mac computers. 3

16 Connect to Audio Start or attend a WebEx meeting as you normally would on your mobile device. When you connect to audio, your GlobalMeet Audio account is used. Your account settings determine whether you can Call In to the meeting or have it Call Me. If your account is enabled for GlobalMeet Audio VoIP, you can connect using your device s Internet connection. 16
17 Troubleshooting The Install (desktop computer) or Connect Using Internet (mobile device) options aren t available. First, make sure that the user is assigned to a WebEx site that is enabled for the GlobalMeet Audio VoIP feature. If so, confirm with your WebEx site administrator or Support that the company to which the site is assigned has been provisioned for VoIP audio. Call Using Computer is available, but audio doesn t connect. Make sure that the user s computer has an active, stable Internet connection. If the user still cannot connect, make sure the network ports and protocols are enabled as described earlier in this guide. VoIP audio. The audio connection drops when mobile device switches from Wi-Fi to data connection. The participant receives the error message, You ve been disconnected from the WebEx meeting, when the connection times out and is dropped from the meeting. You must rejoin the meeting and reconnect audio. VoIP audio (Mac). The first time you use Call Using Computer, it might hang while trying to connect. This is an intermittent WebEx Mac OS X client issue; seen only the first time a user selects Call Using Computer after installing the GlobalMeet Hybrid Audio app. On the Connecting box, click Cancel and then use your phone to connect (Call Me or I Will Call In). You will be able to use computer audio for all subsequent meetings you host or attend. Cisco has targeted a fix for this issue in a future WebEx release. 17
