3 FROM LEGACY TO LUXURY Founded in 1848, the family-owned Edwards Ranch predates the very city that has grown up around it. Once spanning 7,000 acres across southwest Fort Worth, land used for the Edwards cattle operation is now occupied by many landmarks such as the Fort Worth Zoo and Colonial Country Club. As passionate stewards, Cassco Development Co., the development arm of Edwards Ranch, is now focusing on the 270 acres known as Clearfork. Plans for Clearfork involve careful consideration of how best to cultivate the last undeveloped portion of this legendary land to create a timeless contribution to Fort Worth. Clearfork will be an upscale, mixed-use development in the heart of the city. Here along the Clear Fork of the Trinity River, an inspired mix of retail, entertainment, residences and offices will blend with expanses of natural green space and direct access to the Trinity Trails system.
