1 Under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) Pharmaceutial Distribution Cardinal Health supports efforts to combat counterfeiting, contamination and adulteration of prescription drugs. We are continually working to provide our pharmacy customers with the resources they need to ensure the drugs in the supply chain are safe. Under the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), we provide transaction data for eligible drugs online, 24x7, at no cost to customers. Customers may access data from their online ordering system or from a web portal. Access data from Order Express and Specialty Online Customers who use Order Express or Specialty Online may get their transaction data from these systems only. Retail Independent, Acute and Specialty Solutions customers 1. Log in to Order Express as usual 2. Click the Reports tab 3. Select Track and Trace Report on the next screen Note: The Reports link may appear in the left or right navigation bar depending on the system. National Chain Customers 4. Log in to Order Express as usual 5. Click Track and Trace Report in the Common Tasks box on the right navigation of the page. Next: Refer to the Select data reports section once you log in to your ordering system. 1 of 8

2 Access data from the web portal Only customers who do not use Order Express or Specialty Online may use this portal. 1. Go to cardinalhealth.com/trace 2. Click the Get Data link from the main page or the Customers page 3. Enter a username and password Note: You may request a username and password by contacting your customer service department. Login credentials from other Cardinal Health systems will NOT work. Order Express and Specialty Online customers will receive the error message, Access Denied, if they try to access data from this page. 4. An Account Selection page will appear and will show all accounts associated with your logon credentials. Select the account for which you want the transaction data. Users of Order Express and Specialty Online are not able to access data from this page. Please log in to your online ordering system to access transaction data. All other users, you may request login credentials for this page by contacting your customer service department. Read more about transaction data. Select data reports Once you click on the Track and Trace Report from an online ordering system or select your account from the web portal, a new window will open with a default date range of 7-14 days from the current date. All invoices with dates within that range will populate. If no invoices are found within the date range, a No Records Found message will display. 2 of 8

3 Select data reports, cont. You can to search for reports by changing the date range or selecting other criteria invoice or order numbers, CIN or NDC from the top of the page and clicking RUN. The search will produce a list of invoice numbers. Click the invoice number to view the transaction data for that report. From this screen you also have the option to view, print and save the report. You do no need to open the report first to save it. You may save the data to another format, such as PDF or Excel, by clicking on the disks icon. To print the report, click the printer icon. When prompted, export the file to PDF so you can print it. 3 of 8

4 View transaction data Once you select an invoice number, a transaction report will appear showing all DSCSAeligible drugs. Note: The report will not show all of the products on the invoice unless they are DSCSA-eligible. The first three areas of the report show Information: 1. Seller and address 2. The report will not show lot number or previous transaction date if an asterisk (*) appears next to the NDC. The asterisk indicates the product was a direct purchase. Wholesalers that purchase directly from the manufacturer, an exclusive distributor of the manufacturer, or repackager that purchased product directly from the manufacturer are exempt from passing the lot number and initial transaction date. 6 Enhanced Reporting Capabilities Export Summary Data Customers have the ability to view a summary of all Track and Trace data across multiple invoices within a single report. Enter selected criteria for Date Range, CIN and/or NDC. Click on View DSCSA Line Details and Run report. All lines for selected criteria will be returned. Click on the Export icon. 6 of 8

7 From the Export pop up box, select Microsoft Excel ( ) Data only from the drop down box. Click Export. Open the Crystal Report Viewer file to view the excel spreadsheet. Report Generation by Ship To, Bill To or DEA license number An account may view Data reports by Ship-To, Bill-To or DEA license number, by selecting the appropriate view on the screen. 7 of 8

8 Drop Shipment Information for visibility purposes only Under DSCSA, wholesale distributors that do not physically handle or store product are exempt. The manufacturer will provide Data on Drop Shipments directly to the customer. Most manufacturers have indicated that they will include the Data on the packing list shipped with the product. Customers are required to maintain the Data received from manufacturers on drop shipments for six years. As an added service to our customers, Cardinal Health is posting drop shipment information on the portal for visibility purposes only so you can identify if you have received a drop shipment when you need to respond to requests for information. This information will appear only after you have been invoiced by Cardinal Health for the drop shipment. The product will have already been delivered, so this is not the true Information, History and Statement according to the law, which must be provided prior to or at the time of shipment. It is intended to provide information so customers can respond to requests for information in a timely manner not receipt of TI, TH or TS prior to taking ownership. On the web portal, the Track and Trace report for Drop Shipments will not include a Statement. Instead, it will indicate DROP SHIP FOR VISIBILITY PURPOSES ONLY.
