1 Online Banking Web Connect Conversion As your financial institution completes its system conversion, you will need to modify your Quicken settings to ensure the smooth transition of your data. You will need your customer User ID and Password. It is important that you perform the following instructions exactly as described and in the order presented. If you do not, your online banking Quicken download service may stop functioning properly. This conversion should take 15 minutes. BACK UP YOUR CURRENT DATA 1. Choose File menu Backup. 2. Specify which file to back up and where you want the backup saved in the Quicken Backup dialog, and then click OK. WC_WC Customer Conversion Guide

2 DOWNLOAD THE LATEST QUICKEN UPDATE 1. Click the Update icon on the Quicken toolbar. 2. Uncheck all boxes Update Now in the One Step Update Settings dialog. 3. If an update is available, Quicken will provide a description of the update and brief instructions for receiving the update. 4. When the update is completed, close Quicken. Reopen Quicken. GET YOUR LATEST TRANSACTIONS 1. Log in to your financial institution s Web site, if available. Download your transactions into Quicken. 2. Once the transactions are downloaded, accept all the transactions into your Quicken account register. 3. Repeat this step for each account (such as checking, savings, credit cards, and brokerage) that you use for online banking or investing. Note: You may not be able to download these transactions after the conversion. 3 DEACTIVATE YOUR ACCOUNT FROM WEB CONNECT 1. Right click the account in the Quicken Account List 2. Select Edit Account from pop-up. 3. 4 ACTIVATE WEB CONNECT 1. Login to your FI website from an external browser to initiate a download of a Web Connect file into Quicken (.QFX). When presented with the screen below, choose the "Use an existing Quicken account" radio button NOTE: Now the account will be connected via Web Connect. Quicken may prompt to activate One Step Update after a successful Web Connect download. Please select No do not activate and check the box to not be prompted again. Screen shot on the next page. 5 DEACTIVATE/REACTIVATE ONE STEP UPDATE (EWC) 1. Right click the account in the Quicken Account List 2. Select Edit Account from pop-up. 3. Click the Online Services tab. In the One Step Update section, it will state the connection method the end user is using. To disable the account, click on the "Remove from One Step Update" button. 7 REACTIVATE ONE STEP UPDATE (EWC) Please be advised that the aggregation feature in Quicken Windows known as Express Web Connect will not be active for 2-3 business days after the conversion is complete. Please use Web Connect to download your transaction until that time. 1. Right click the account in the Quicken Account List 2. Select Edit Account from pop-up. 8 3. Click the "Activate One Step Update" button and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the One Step Update activation process. Now the account will be connected using Express Web Connect. You will be prompted to provide your login credentials and a list of available accounts will be presented. Check any that you want to set up for Express Web Connect. Intuit will log in to the online banking system daily on your behalf and collect the transactions available. When you want to process them, simply click One Step Update and they will automatically download into your accounts for processing. If a software update is available, you will be prompted to download the update; select Install Update to proceed. Get Your Latest Transactions 1. Select account to be updated 2. Click Update. 3. Enter your User ID and Password to log into PMCU s Web site: Download your transactions by accessing Downloads under the Services tab into Quicken. You will need to be able to log in to the Web site of your financial institution. It is important that you perform the following instructions exactly as described and in the order presented. If you do not, your online service may stop functioning properly. This conversion should take 10 minutes. Note: In the following screen shots, red icon numbers match step number instructions. All financial institution and register information is fictitious and for illustration only. In this document, Quicken 2006 screen shots display. While the screens may look slightly different depending upon version, the functionality remains the same. Any instructional differences are clearly noted. A. BACK UP YOUR CURRENT DATA 1. Quicken for Mac 2006 & 2007 customers: Choose File menu Back Up To Disk. Quicken for Mac 2005 customers: Choose File menu Save a Copy. 2. Complete the following prompts. B. 13 C. GET YOUR LATEST TRANSACTIONS 1. Choose Online menu Download Transactions. For 2005 customers: Your Download Transactions dialog looks different from the 2006 version shown here. Individually select both the Financial Institution: and Account: options. The Download button is positioned to the right 2. Quicken for Mac 2006 & 2007 customers: Click to select your account from the drop-down list. Quicken for Mac 2005 customers: Click to select your financial institution and account from the dropdown lists. (The note in the graphic explains how your Download Transactions dialog will look a little different.) 3. Click Download. 4. Enter your customer ID and PIN to log in to you financial institution s Web site. Download your transactions into Quicken. Note: You will not be able to download these transactions after the conversion. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each account (such as checking, savings, credit cards, and brokerage) that you will use for online banking and investing. 5. Once the transactions are downloaded, accept all the transactions into your Quicken account register. Important: You will not be able to proceed to the next section until you accept all transactions in the Download Transactions tab. For help reconciling your account register, choose Help menu Quicken Help. In the Ask a Question prompt, enter Reconciling an account. 14 D. DISABLE YOUR ACCOUNTS FROM WEB CONNECT 1. Choose Lists menu Accounts. 2. Select the account you want to disable, and click Edit. Update Account Number and Routing Number as needed. 3. In the Download transactions: drop-down list, select not enabled. Click OK to the prompt, You are about to disable (not shown) 4. Click OK to save your edits. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each online account (such as checking, savings, credit cards, and brokerage). As each online account is disabled, its blue online circle icon disappears. 15 E. ENABLE YOUR ACCOUNTS FOR WEB CONNECT IMPORTANT: Complete section E after the conversion date. 1. Log in to your Financial Institution s Web site and download your transactions into Quicken. Important: To avoid the possibility of creating duplicate records when downloading into Quicken, select a from date that does not include records previously downloaded from your financial institution. 2. Click the Use an existing Quicken account radio button. In the corresponding drop-down list, select the Quicken account. Select your existing account here.
