2 is an all-inclusive English program for students aged 13 to 17. Workshops, field trips, creative activities and fun-filled excursions, makes the Winter Adventures program a rich learning experience with unforgettable moments! The program focuses not only on improving general English skills, but also on sparking student interest in the areas of Dance, Media, Fashion, College Bound, and NY Culture through our electives. The program includes 10 general English lessons per week and 10 lessons of an elective options per week, at Rennert s school in Midtown Manhattan. Students stay in accommodations in shared rooms at the Vanderbilt YMCA, and enjoy three meals per day on the weekdays, two on the weekends. 6 Accommodations Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the Vanderbilt YMCA is a five minute walk from Rennert s New York school and ten minutes from Grand Central Station and the subway. All student rooms are double rooms with shared bathrooms down the hall that feature: Free Wi-Fi access Cable TV Air Conditioning Housekeeping services 24 hour security Laundry facilities Luggage storage Food Our students will dine at local restaurants around the New York City area and will be treated to a wide variety of cuisines! One thing New York is famous for is its food! Students enjoy three meals a day on the weekdays and two meals a day on the weekend. 8 Being at Rennert has been a really cool experience. The students who study with me are really friendly and the teachers are really good. I am doing fashion in my elective class and I am loving it because the teacher is really cool! The staff who go out with us are the best.
