Their passion for their craft is a legacy that is still very much in evidence today. The Castelli s began making designer paper notebooks and diaries many decades ago in their home in Bergamo. Bergamo is situated in the Lombardy Region of Italy and has a historical importance in Italy with regards to the craftsmanship of the goods made there. The cultural in uences and the passion of Lindo and Maria Castelli helped make their products the way they believe all paper notebooks and diaries should be made. Founder s Note Welcome to my family s life work. We are so proud of the products we create and make for you in our home town of San Paolo d Argon, Bergamo. My family work every day in the company to continue the work of my father, Lindo Castelli. We hope that our products show the care, intelligence and family values we try to inject into our work. 30 Important Ordering Information Follow these steps to ensure expedited processing of your order. 1. Complete, Clear Orders: Clearly detail the item number, colour code(s), description of each item, quantity, price, imprint method, location of imprint, shipping method, ship-to address and in-hands date. Clearly note your contact information including address. 2. Artwork: Artwork or previous PO number; if repeat, art must be included with order. See Artwork Speci cations for requirements. 3. Acknowledgment: Upon receiving your order, the factory will you a con rmation that you need to approve. Make the effort to completely check for accuracy, as the order will be processed as indicated. 4. Proofs: Upon receipt of a complete PO and artwork, an electronic proof will be provided for your approval within 2 business days. 5. Pre-production product proofs: Produced upon request only. The price is the EQP cost of the product and setup plus shipping, please provide shipper number. The signed approval con rms the accuracy of the artwork and assures that your order will be produced the way you requested. Castelli Canada is not liable for customer-approved errors, mistakes or misspellings. Standard production time applies for preproduction sample orders and stock production orders. 6. Changes to approved proofs: If changes are made to electronic proofs or product proofs after approval is received and production is in process, additional costs and delays in production time will be incurred. Over and Under-Runs: While every effort is made to supply the exact quantity of printed merchandise ordered, a 3-5% variance must be taken into account for over or under-runs. GENERAL INFORMATION: Artwork Speci cations: In order to ensure accurate, high-quality and prompt production of your order, speci c art requirements are needed. Electronic art is the required method to ensure quality production. Less Than Minimum: If less than Small, Medium or 25 Large books are ordered, a $40 (F) Less Than Minimum charge applies. Standard Imprinting: Standard imprint area is determined by book size. Oversized dies at $4 (F) per square inch. Additional dies at $5 (F) per square inch. 2nd Imprint or Run Charge - $.80(F) Each product has its own recommended imprinting method (deboss, foil imprint or full colour). Silver and gold are standard foil colours - PMS matches are not available. For other foil colour options, please contact Customer Service. Additional charges may apply.
