6 BOOT RULE British Showjumping Boots / Leg Protection Ruling The total maximum weight of equipment allowed to be added to a horse s leg; front or hind (single or multiple boots, fetlock rings etc), is 500g. All hind leg protections must have a maximum interior length of 16cm and a minimum exterior width of 5cm. The inside protection must be smooth and the fixations must be made of nonelastic Velcro type fasteners with no hooks or straps permitted. The rounded rigid part of the protection must be placed around the inside of the fetlock. No additional elements may be used in conjunction with the protection. Failure to comply will incur disqualification.

7 GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Show Organiser referred to in these Rules and Regulations shall hereinafter mean Addington Manor EC. The Addington Manor Show will hereinafter be referred to as the Show. 2. All horses must be registered with the British Show jumping. 3. The Show, Show Organiser, Volunteer and Officials do not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury, theft or illness to horses, riders, owners, and spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. 4. The Show Organiser retains as its absolute discretion the right to decline or exclude or remove any person or animal from the show or future shows or return any entry fee without being required to assign reason or being liable for any compensation. 5. Competitions The Show Organiser reserves the right to cancel, add to, or amend any of the competitions, as they think fit, with the approval of the BS. 6. Smoking Smoking is not permitted within any of the showground buildings or stables. 7. Collecting Ring All warming up must be done in the designated Collecting Rings provided. Persons found abusing horses on the showground may be asked to leave. 8. Refund of Entry and Stable Fees Refunds will only be in accordance with British Show Jumping Rule Any cancellations made after the close of Entry will be charged IN FULL for any Stable Booking. 9. Represented Cheques or Credit Cards Any payment that has to be represented to the bank for whatever reason will be subject to a administration fee for each occasion. 10. Vehicles The Show Organiser reserves the right to remove any vehicle which is obstructing any access to or from the ground even if locked and unattended. The Show Organiser will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage occasioned by such removal. 11. Dogs Dogs are permitted in the Lorry Park and car park only. They must be kept under control at all times. If, in the opinion of the Show Organiser, any person fails to control their dog/s they may be asked to leave the Showground. 12. Prize Giving The Show organiser reserves the right to withhold prizes if competitors do not attend the Official Prize Giving. 13. Objections Objection should be made in writing in accordance to British Show jumping Rule 198. Two Show Stewards will be appointed to the Show in accordance to Rule Official Photographs Any photographs taken at the Championship by the Official Photographer may be used by the Show Organiser for promotional purposes. 15. First Aid Cover 5 per day per competitor will be charged towards medical cover during the hours of competition. 16. Vaccination Certificate All horses at the show must have a current and valid certificate of vaccination against Equine Influenza. There will be random checking of certificates and any horse found without a valid certificate will be asked to leave the show ground 17. Stallions No person shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorized agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any class without taking adequate precautions to ensure other persons are not put at risk of injury. 18. Close of Entries Entries will close at the start of each class, to guarantee you entry enter before the show. Any entry if accepted after the class has started a donation of 1 must be made to The Air Ambulance Please read carefully the General Rules and Regulations. Any person coming to the show or involved in any aspect of the meeting is deemed bound by the General Rules & Regulations.
