1 One Day Show Bill ~ Thursday, July 9th, 2014, 8:00 a.m. Location: Red River Valley Fairgrounds Check-in Opens at 7:00 a.m. Judge: Laurie Holverson Dressage test Pre-entries must be postmarked on or before July 1st. All other classes may be entered at the show, but will be charged $2.00 extra per class if not postmarked by July 1st. MAIL to Show Coordinator: Sarah Peltier, th St. S., Apt. #303, Fargo, ND (If questions, call or her at peltier.sa@gmail.com) NEW THIS YEAR: Register for a TIP Number and earn extra cash and prizes (on top of those offered) at our shows if you bring proof of registration and/or a TIP number. See our AEER Facebook page for more specific details Class Fees: Dressage Test Classes are $12/class (Dressage Test entries must be postmarked by July 1st.). Please include your show fees for dressage tests with your registration form (we are unable to schedule a dressage test ride time for you without your payment). Rail Class Fees are $5 per class. Although we appreciate it, you do not need to preregister for the rail classes. INCLUDE: Registration form, Current Coggins, Health Certificate (if horse is outside ND), AEER and Fairgrounds Liability Release forms, payment RIDER NUMBERS: Pick up your numbers bag at registration for a $5 deposit-refunded when returned-after the show or at the end of the season. STABLING: Stalls available in the Fairgrounds horse barn. Stall fees $25/ night, includes bedding and stall cleaning. ($15 for day only.) Please feel free to bring disinfectants for stalls. DRESSAGE RIDE TIMES: Will be posted on and ed to club list 24 hours in advance of show. Notify webmaster if you are not on the list. Dressage Tests are available for download on our website DAY-OF AWARDS: Ribbons awarded 1st-6th place (In Dressage, you are competing against all tests in your level) YEAR-END AWARDS: To be eligible for Year End awards, competitors must compete in two AEER shows. Awards given for Dressage include Intro, Training, and 1st Level, 2nd Level, and above and Youth 18 and Under Dressage Test, Western Dressage. Hunter Jumper Award categories are Limited, Rookie, Jumper, Open & Youth. SHOW VOLUNTEERS: We always need and appreciate our show volunteers! If you would like to volunteer for a specific show position such as ribbons, registration, stall coordinator, gate, announcer, set-up and take down contact Sara Forness, AEER President at or bjsfornes@yahoo.com. Please print a volunteer voucher from the web or pick one up at the show secretary s table. Hours must be documented by show secretary, and you may accumulate up to 50 $ (we credit $5.00/hour) of volunteer cash by helping out. Have the show secretary sign your time in and time out on the DAY you volunteered. You can give your credits earned to others, as well! Helmets Required: Everyone mounted or driving a cart on show grounds is required to have an ASTM approved helmet buckled on at all times.

2 Information about Hunter Jumper Class Categories Limited rider (L): Open to riders of any age. Walk trot only. Ground poles only. These riders can remain in this level indefinitely as long as they do not cross into any canter classes. The rider/horse will also lose eligibility if they enter a class w/fences higher than a ground pole. A rider may return to this level at the start of each show season. They may move up at any time during the show season, but must wait until following year if they wish to show at limited again to qualify for Year End awards. Rookie classes (R): Open to riders who w/t/canter. All jumping classes will have no solid fences. Jumps will not exceed 2 feet cross rail (measured at inside center). Jumps do not have to be taken at a canter and are not penalized if jumped at a trot. If rider/horse has been awarded three blue ribbons in a class it is time to move up to the open division (honor system). Open classes (O): Open to non pro and pro. All w/t/canter various fence heights. Fences may be solid. Jumper classes (J): Open to riders w/t/c. Jumps may be solid with obstacles. Course will be timed and winners based on clean round and time. If all rounds are clean, a timed jump off will be held.
