2 MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND The NPS/LEYHILLS M&M In Hand Summer Championship (MM-IH) These classes are open to pure bred registered M&M ponies in the main body of their studbook. Owner s membership cards must be shown in the ring to receive qualifications. Foals are not eligible. Class split by age and/or breed at discretion of the show. Please be aware shows running sections with two or more classes for an individual breed will require a relevant breed panel judge. This judge does not also have to be on the NPS MM Panel. Class 1 Small Breeds, colt, filly & gelding 3 years old & under. Class 2 Small Breeds, stallion, mare & gelding, 4 years old & over. Class 3 Large Breeds, colt, filly & gelding, 3 years old & under. Class 4 Large Breeds, stallion, mare & gelding, 4 years old & over. Championship 1 st & 2 nd from classes 1 4 to compete for the NPS/KILMANNAN STUD M&M Inhand Silver Medal Rosette Championship (SM-MMIH) The NPS M&M Home Produced In Hand National Championship (MM-HPIH) These classes are open to pure bred registered M&M ponies which are either stabled at home or in a DIY yard and which since 1st January in the current year have not been shown by a producer or stabled in a producer s yard other than on a DIY basis or at stud. To be owned/kept, produced, ridden/handled by a person who does not derive their main income from working with horses/ponies. No professional producers are allowed into the ring to groom/strip the horse/pony. Please see NPS 2016 Rule Book, Sec A, 3.6. Please enter this class in the spirit it is intended. Competitors who contravene the above will be disqualified. Qualifying shows may hold 2 classes or split at their discretion. Class 5 Small Breeds, stallions, mares & geldings, any age. Class 6 Large Breeds, stallions, mares & geldings, any age. Championship 1 st & 2 nd from classes 5 & 6 to compete NON M&M IN HAND Class 7 Competition Horse or Pony Any age, any height. Class 8 Show Pony/ SHP/ PBA/ Anglo Arab Colt, filly & gelding, 3 years old & under. Class 9 Show Pony/ SHP/ PBA/ Anglo Arab - Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over. Championship 1 st & 2 nd from classes 7-9 to compete COLOURED IN HAND Class 10 Colts, fillies & geldings, 3 years old & under. Class 11 Stallions, mares & geldings, 4 years old & over. 3 The NPS/PICTON STUD M&M Novice Ridden National Championship (MM-NR) Open to pure bred registered M&M stallions, mares and geldings four years old or over. A pony is not eligible to compete if, before 1st January in the current year, it has done any of the following: i. Won an open NPS affiliated mixed M&M Ridden class ii. Won a Ridden class at an Olympia, Horse of the Year Show or RIHS qualifying round iii. Qualified for Horse of the Year Show or RIHS Ridden classes iv. Qualified for the M&M Novice or Intermediate Ridden final at the NPS Summer Championship show (N.B. Ponies can compete as novices in this competition for two consecutive years provided they do not submit an entry to the final in the first year). v. Qualified for the M&M Ridden Championship final at Olympia in previous years vi. If a pony qualifies for Horse of the Year Show or RIHS in its second year it is immediately denoviced and cannot compete in the Picton Final. Ponies must be shown in a snaffle bit. Class 12 Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland. Stallions, mares and gelding four years and over. Rider any age Class 13 Welsh A, Welsh B. Stallions, mares and gelding four years and over. Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over, not exc 148cms, riders MUST be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. Snaffle bridles only. Class 27 BSPS Mixed Height Novice Show Hunter Pony. Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over, not exc 153cms, riders MUST be the correct age for the height of the animal they ride. Snaffle bridles only. Class 28 BSPS Open Int. Show Riding Type Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over exc 146cms but not exc 158cms, riders not to have attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st Jan in the current year. Class 29 BSPS Mixed height Open Show Ponies. Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over, not exc 148cms, riders to be the correct age for the pony they ride. The 1 st place will qualify for the BSPS Champion of Champions Class 30 BSPS Mixed height Open Show Hunter Ponies. Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over, not exc 153cms, riders to be the correct age for the pony they ride. The 1 st place will qualify for the BSPS 222.handleyequestrian.co.uk Champion of Champions Class 31 BSPS Open Int. Show Hunter Mare or Gelding 4 yrs old and over exc 148cms but not exc 158cms, riders not to have attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st Jan in the current year. BSPS INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP 1 st & 2 nd prize winners from classes The champion will qualify for the BSPS Champion of Champions Overall Ridden Championship All Ridden Champions and Reserve Champions to compete for The Cawthorne Ridden Trophy

5 TSR HORSEZONE.CO.UK Regional Finals - This show is a qualifier for the 2016 TSR HORSEZONE.CO.UK Regional Finals. Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals! TSR Riders Finals - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring. TSR In Hand Finals - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from the TSR website. Full details at TSR Medal Awards - TSR members can collect qualification cards & signatures and redeem for a TSR Medal see TSR website for details. BSHA Grass Roots Championships - With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs on the 10th Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre - You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final.
