1 Evidencing and Accountability Amount of Grant Received 8935 Date: Academic Year Increase in participation rates in such activities as games, dance, gymnastics, swimming and athletics Curriculum School sports provision map A greater amount of students have access to sports throughout the year. All year groups have at least 2 hours of quality PE each week taught by qualified sports coaches, with teachers participating. Lesson plans are received from external coaches and regular feedback is received from teachers to the SLT. Quick action is taken to address any concerns. Staff receive continuous professional development by attending sports lessons. School have been able to access a wider range of activities such as hockey. Pupil feedback is overwhelmingly positive (2015 survey report) Teachers are more confident about how to report PE to parents using the new curriculum targets Pupils are given opportunity to take part in competitive tournaments to develop and improve their skills and resilience. PE lessons have an inclusive ethos to ensure everyone participates at an appropriate level regardless of ability. Resources and facilities are constantly reviewed and improved.
