2 WELCOME TO AMP LOST & FOUND FESTIVAL 2016 We ve put together this pack with all the details you will need to have a fun and safe festival. If you re looking for information about travel to the festival, where to go for boat parties, accommodation, or what currency to bring, all the facts should be here. We will have an info point at Café del Mar in St Paul s Bay and at the night time festival venue, so if you have any questions at all, please just ask a member of staff.
3 WEATHER The average daytime temperature is around 17-20c in Malta with temperatures dropping off later into the evening (bring a warm coat!). We would recommend preparing for all weather (including rain) but, we re praying for sun sun sun! MONEY You will only need Euros for the festival and this is accepted in all shops, bars, restaurants and the festival venues. There are cash machines and money exchange facilities at most hotel receptions and also across the island. MEDICAL SERVICES in case of emergency, please call 112 In order to receive free medical care in case of illness or emergency you will need to have a valid EHIC card which is available free from We recommend taking out travel insurance in advance of your trip. Please note if you do require medical attention, all expenses must be paid immediately (which you will claim back from your insurance company) so please keep all receipts. WELFARE We ve partnered with The Loop a non-for profit company that provides advice & support to help people stay safe at clubs and festivals across the UK and Europe. Our staff can be found in the welfare area next to the medical tent. Here we provide free, confidential, non-judgemental advice and assistance. If you need help come and find us on site or ring the helpline number
4 DRUGS WARNING Don t get involved with drugs. Penalties for drug offences are harsh in Malta. There is little distinction between classes of drugs in Maltese law. TRAVEL INSURANCE We would recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance for your trip. Including European Health insurance. Get a free EHIC card before you travel. More information can be found on the NHS website PASSPORT Look after your passport. Take a photocopy of your passport with you, leave one at home & carry one with you. PERSONAL BELONGINGS We d recommend not bringing your ipad / laptop or anything too valuable with you, and keep personal belongings locked away at all times just to be safe. Some of the hotels will have safes in the rooms to store valuables. SAFETY Malta is a safe and friendly country but please take care of yourself & your friends as you would back home. COMMUNICATING English is an official language, along with Maltese. TIME ZONE Time Malta runs one hour ahead of time in the UK. (Central European Time Zone)

6 PAYING AT THE BAR The bars at the night time Lost & Found Festival venue, Boat Parties, Pool Parties & Castle Parties will operate using a token system. Tokens are available from the accreditation centre, Cafe Del Mar and at ALL venues. We use a token system to ensure our bar service is quicker for you For your own convenience we recommend that you purchase an initial amount of tokens at the Token Kiosk at Café Del Mar before you arrive at the night time festival venue. Night time Lost & Found Festival Venue Token only There will be 5 Token Kiosks operating at the venue from 8:00pm-4:00am. Cash or Debit / Credit card accepted Cafe Del Mar - Token only Boat Parties Token only Tokens can be purchased on the boat with cash.. However to ensure our bar service is quicker for you, we suggest purchasing before hand at Café Del Mar. Pool Parties Token only The day time parties at Café Del Mar, Qawra Palace and the San Antonio Hotel will use the token system and you will be able to pay using cash or your debit / credit card. Castle Parties Token only Tokens can be purchased at the castle parties using cash or your debit / credit card. However to ensure our bar service is quicker for you, we suggest purchasing before hand at Café Del Mar.
7 TOKEN KIOSK OPENING TIMES Lost & Found Venue - During the event times Boat Parties - During the event times Pool parties - During the event times Castle parties - During the event times Café Del Mar Token Kiosk will be open for token sales and for refunds on unused tokens on the following days: Wednesday 30th March... 11:00 02:00 Thursday 31st March... 11:00 02:00 Friday 1st April... Midday - Midnight Saturday 2nd April... Midday - Midnight Sunday 3rd April... Midday - Midnight Monday 4th April... All day - Midnight - Midnight Tuesday 5th April... All day - Midnight Midnight Unused tokens must be redeemed before you leave Malta. Token refunds will only be given to customers that are wearing their festival wristband. Refunds are available from Cafe Del Mar from midnight Sunday to midnight Tuesday. FESTIVAL SHUTTLE Friday 3rd April Sunday 5th April Full festival shuttle wristband 45 in advance / 55 at the festival Festival shuttle will be operating between the following times and you can use it as many times as you want: Friday 1st April Saturday 2nd April Sunday 3rd April The festival shuttle will operate from Café Del Mar to the Lost & Found Festival Venue on a continuous loop. Please allow up to 35 minutes travelling time during busy periods.
8 ARRIVING IN MALTA When you arrive in to Malta Airport you have a number of options to get to your chosen accommodation. AIRPORT TRANSFERS (only available for Experience Malta customers) If you've booked an airport transfer through Experience Malta then there will be a rep at the airport who will direct you to your coach for the short transfer to St Paul's Bay. You will need to show a copy of the confirmation to the rep. The transfer will drop you off at your hotel so please do listen for the driver s announcements to ensure you depart the transfer at the correct location. For your return transfer, pick up information will be displayed in the hotel reception on the Experience Malta notice board around 48 hours before your departure so please check for your confirmed transfer time. The transfer will depart from outside your hotel and will head directly to the airport. In case of any delay Experience Malta will not be held responsible for missed flights, trains, buses or any other means of transport. CAR HIRE Numerous car hire companies operate from Malta Airport but we would recommend reserving a vehicle in advance as it will generally be much cheaper! As an idea, have a few options. TAXI There are taxis available from Malta Airport to your chosen accommodation.
9 ACCOMMODATION Apartments / Rooms / Hostel Information If you re booked through or one of our travel partners (Festicket) check-in is ever so simple. Head to your allocated hotel reception when you arrive with the following: Accommodation confirmation (including booking reference starting RASF ) Passports of all guests staying in your accommodation Please note staying in some hotels may require credit / debit card details in case of room service Check in time is available from 15:00 on your check in date. The reception is generally open 24 hours a day. Check out is 10:00am If you ve booked privately or through another website please ensure you have the following information: Contact details for the hotel / apartment Full address of your accommodation with map printout of location Print out of your booking confirmation with any receipt for payment A method to reach your accommodation. There are details about arriving in to Malta on the previous page.

Midday Lost & Found Festival Venue Friday 1st April... 20:00 05:00 Saturday 2nd April... 20:00 05:00 Sunday 3rd April... 14:00 05:00 FESTIVAL WRISTBANDS Please bring your ticket (e-ticket or physical) and also the card you purchased the ticket with (if you ve lost that / got a new card then bring your new one along) and photo ID to claim your festival wristband. LOST PROPERTY Lost property will be operating at the times and locations above. After this date, you can hello@lostandfoundfestival.com with the subject Lost Property and we will check to see if we have any items.
12 BOAT PARTIES You will need to bring your boat party e-ticket to be scanned before boarding the boat. All of the boat parties will pick up and depart from the pier in St Paul s Bay which is around a 20 minute walk from Café Del Mar past the main square and the McDonalds. Please see the map for the exact location. WHEN TO ARRIVE FOR BOAT PARTIES Friday 1st April Sunday 3rd April Meet at Pier... 11:00am Departure Time... 12:00pm Meet at Pier... 3:00pm Departure Time... 4:00pm Please note that these times are set so that you can board the boat safely in time for the departure time. You are not able to bring your own drinks on to the boat. You may also be searched before boarding. Drinks tokens are available for purchase on the boat in cash which are redeemable at the bar. Strictly no jumping in to the sea from the boat / pier. You will have your wristband taken off you and you will not be allowed in to the festival for the remaining time of the festival. CASTLE PARTIES The bus to take you to the castle party leaves Cafe Del Mar at 12pm Don t miss it! Headline acts will be playing from doors, so get down early! The bus will only depart once full. You will need to bring your e-ticket with you. The castle parties will take place at one of Malta s highest points on the island, therefore we d advise bringing a jacket for later in the evening in case it gets cool.
13 POOL PARTIES The pool parties will take place at Qawra Palace hotel, San Antonio hotel and Cafe Del Mar from Thursday through to Sunday, 1pm-7pm. THURSDAY Café Del Mar FRIDAY Qawra Palace hotel & San Antonio hotel SATURDAY Qawra Palace hotel & San Antonio hotel SUNDAY Café Del Mar & Qawra Palace hotel POOL PARTY ADDRESSES: Qawra Palace hotel: Dawret Il - Qawra, San Pawl il-baħar, Malta San Antonio hotel: Triq it-turisti, San Pawl il-baħar, Malta Café Del Mar: St Paul's Bay, Malta All pool party venues are within walking distance of each other. The full line-ups are available in our programmes which are available at the merchandise stand. Here are some more details about what to expect: Pool parties run from 1:00pm 7:00pm (Times may vary depending on the party). Entry to all pool parties is FREE to wristband holders. We are expecting these parties to be busy so please get down early to guarantee entry. There s a chance you might get wet from water from the pools, so please dress accordingly and look after your valuables. Be careful with drinking in the sun for long periods and please drink lots of water.
14 USEFUL INFORMATION Where can I get a copy of the set times for the festival / pool parties? These will be available in our programmes available from the merch stand at Café Del Mar or at the Lost & Found festival venue. What if I feel ill / need medical attention? If you are at the festival venue then there is a first aid team located by the main entrance. Please speak to any member of Lost & Found staff and they will be able to help you. First aid is also available at pool, boat and castle parties. What if I lose my wristband? We are unable to replace any wristbands so please look after yours! I have a problem with my accommodation, who do I talk to? As most of the accommodation for the festival is in hotels we d recommend speaking to the hotel reception if you have any issues at all. Is there WiFi at the festival? There isn t WiFi at the Lost & Found Festival venue, but around St Paul s Bay there are plenty of WiFi hot spots. I ve lost my phone / wallet / passport, what shall I do? We will have a lost property & info point available at Café Del Mar & the Lost & Found festival venue for any questions you may have about the festival or to check about lost property. If you ve lost something valuable such as a phone then be sure to report it to the local police as this might be a requirement for your insurance and for all other items, be sure to cancel your cards or speak to a member of staff on the info points as we have lost property handed in all the time. Passport Look after your passport. Take a photocopy of your passport with you, leave one at home & carry one with you.

There is an info point available at Café Del Mar by the Festival Shuttle Departure Point and also an info point at the Lost & Found Festival Venue so if you head there our staff will be able to assist you with any queries.
