1 Last updated/reviewed 11/09/10 Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree ART with concentrations in Studio Art, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Multimedia Design College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences University of Wisconsin-Stout Application Procedure Apply to UW-Stout using the UW System Application form available on-line. In addition, we will need a copy of your final high school transcript (if you have not already earned your Associate Degree) and an official transcript from all post-secondary institutions where you have earned college credit. If you took any Advanced Placement tests while in high school and received a score of 3 or higher, a copy of your score report is required to earn college credit. Transferring directly from any of the UW Colleges the $44 application fee is not required. 2 6 credits required (Automatically met with completion of Associate Degree upon verification of an appropriate level math course) Any 6 credits from any UW Colleges MS General Education area HEALTH & PHYSICAL EDUCATION Any of the following courses: PED ; ; 127 or 206 HUMANITIES & THE ARTS 9 credits from minimum of 3 different areas required Any 9 credits from 3 different areas of Fine Arts & Humanities except art courses (see UW-Stout General Education Requirements courses, Humanities & the Arts, for examples of different areas) SOCIAL & BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES 9 credits from minimum of 3 different areas required Any 9 credits from 3 different areas of Social Sciences (see UW-Stout General Education Requirements courses, Social & Behavioral Sciences, for examples of different areas) NATURAL SCIENCES WITH LAB 4 credits required Any 4 credit (minimum) NS/LS Course must include Lab TECHNOLOGY ENGL 218 COM 201 Or Course meeting UW-Stout s PHI 237 Technology Requirement GENERAL EDUCATION ELECTIVES Two credits from any General Education area other than Health and Physical Education or Technology
