1 Arizona Transfer Admissions Pathway Bachelor of Applied Science - Early Childhood Education (University of Arizona South) Cochise College To qualify for the BAS in Early Childhood Education Transfer Admissions Pathway, a Cochise College student enrolled in the Associate of Applied Science in Early Childhood Care and Education program must: Submit an undergraduate application for admission form to University of Arizona South during the university s application filing period for acceptance, at least one semester in advance of transfer, and otherwise qualify for admission. Maintain a minimum recalculated GPA of 2.50 in the most recent 60 units. Satisfactorily complete all Cochise College graduation requirements for the Associate of Applied Science Early Childhood Care and Education prior to the date the student intends to transfer to the university; otherwise, transcripts will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis. If you wish to pursue Teaching Certification in the State of Arizona you will need to meet with a UA South Advisor to discuss additional coursework, as well as meet the Arizona Department of Education state requirements for Teaching Certification.
