Winter Light Celebration December 6 th Craft and Vendors Show 1:00pm-7:00pm Old Scottdale Bank and Trust Building Pictures with Santa Treat for Children Music Food Children s games Face Painting Memorial Ornaments Free turkey raffle Community Parade Featuring Santa 4:00pm Followed by Winter Light Celebration 5:00pm to 7:00 pm Gazebo Area in Scottdale 12 days of give-a-ways! Center Bethel Church of God Alverton Pa. Saturday Evening Worship Service 6:00pm (This is for anyone who wants to come on Saturday and for those who cannot attend Sunday morning. ) Weekend backpacks ministry- Founded October 31 st of this year. Benefits Southmoreland Elementary Students. The ministry will help children who may not get a proper meal on weekends. This ministry will continue each week throughout the school year. Donations are welcomed and appreciated. Spaghetti dinner was provided for the Southmoreland Football Team in early November. Free Thanksgiving dinner prepared for the community and church in November. Shoe Box Ministry- Operation Christmas Child Our church donated approx. 300 boxes. A group of church volunteers will be traveling to Baltimore, MD December 8-10 th to work in distribution center for Samaritan s purse, Shoe Box Ministry. Dime a Day- For Camp Sonrise Mountain to pay for new cabins. Missionaries Christmas Offering is divided among all of our missionaries as a Christmas gift to them for their service to missions.
