5 Presezzi Extrusion Group Our life for perfect extrusion The creation of the Presezzi Extrusion Group now means that customers can entrust all their extrusion requirements to a single, consolidated industrial reality, whose management dedicates itself to a constant technological growth, supported by the continuous, highly qualified activities in its research and development department. Our objectives: the highest possible level of technical specialization in the field research and development: one of the most important objectives for investments within the group, involving all the best technical and design resources and which has been made the principal objective for all our customers: energy savings, complete software solutions and programs for handling the production process, excellent quality of the finished extruded product as well as a reduction in overheads; the utmost flexibility in the supply of complete turn-key installations as well as standalone units perfect synergy between the realities of the production and service departments within the group; being considered as a candidate as the main contractor in order to simplify the handling of financial matters for the customer as well as ensuring punctual delivery for machinery and complete plants; the capacity to listen to our customers has been one of the main priorities of the group over the years and has enabled us to fulfill the most widespread and varied requirements by customizing, when required, any type of installation to raise the productive standards and final results of the supply. 5

Project All projects within the group are initiated and developed by our widely experienced and highly qualified engineering department using the latest generation of innovative 3D design systems to ensure the utmost quality at each and every stage of the design process. Every project carried by the group out is UNIQUE in as much that it is custom designed according to the customers specific needs. It is followed through at every stagefrom design through production, installation and commissioning by independently operated business departments within the company. 7

8 Automation Today Presezzi Extrusion offers a unique, durable, safe and highly automated. All systems are designed to ensure complete flexibility and ease of use. The systems are designed to ensure the full automation of the plants and the machinery and allow a continuous monitoring of the plant operation and efficiency thanks to dedicated software. Automation can be achieved at various levels, depending on customer needs, starting from management of the single press to the control of the production and the entire extrusion line. Research & development We are convinced that technological innovation requires continuous research to thrive. For this reason, our Research & Development department works round the clock to keep up with the market trends. 9 Start Up Due to perfect group organisation and synergies, presses are preassembled and dry tested directly in the Presezzi Extrusion factory. This allows our staff to check every detail and achieve excellent results, significantly reducing assembly and start-up time. Factory inspection is the time when our efforts are rewarded and the customer can finally appreciate the quality of our work. We are proud to bring machines to life to achieve the required performances and always share in this enthusiasm. Energy Saving System After 20 months of research and development activities, created by our desire to be responsive and help our customers save a considerable amount of energy in production, maintaining and/or improving production performance and extrusion quality, we have filed a major International patent based on Energy Saving and technological innovation. 9

10 Thanks to the collaboration of one of the leading Italian companies operating in extrusion of hard alloy profiles, and from "tests conducted in the field" with a prototype unit, we have obtained the first satisfying result in Energy Saving Data. Today, our Energy Saving System has been incorporated in our new machines for extrusion of aluminium and its alloy, which we have already sold in Germany, Poland, Italy and USA (Texas). Our customers have already been able to see the real and valuable savings obtained in the field with the new Energy Saving System, which not only allows a considerable reduction of Energy but it is also extremely easy to use requires very little maintenance compared to the conventional system. Based on the above, we can...case-by-case assess the system integrations requests, such as: Data manager software, online service module, black box to record the press data. Overall press revamping to enhance productivity and reliability. 10

PRESEZZI EXTRUSION manufactures an entire range of systems for aluminium, copper, brass and steel extrusion including traditional, front loading, back loading, direct, indirect presses and presses with perforators. Each component is built with the utmost care and is inspected by qualified international boards. For this reason, our products are all of high quality and guarantee total reliability. 12 Aluminium The presses designed and supplied for aluminium profiles range from 800 to 15,000 tons. In most cases, our expert technicians constantly assist customers in choosing either a "Front Loading" or "Back Loading" press. Our system selection consulting and assistance combines practical needs with creativity to achieve the maximum results. Press interfaces, interlocks and the rest of the system is directly controlled and managed by Presezzi Extrusion so that the customer need not worry about technical and relational problems between various manufacturers. Copper & Brass Over the years we have acquired extensive experience in the production of rods, wires and pipes that allow us to design and produce presses with complex extrusion technology cycles. Our company is able to provide direct and indirect extrusion and with perforator. Production types: - ø 60 mm to ø 397 mm pipes and øø 20 mm to ø 150 mm rods in bronze alloy are just some of the productions our 4500/5500 MT direct, indirect and 1125 ton perforator presses can produce. - ø 5 mm to øø 30mm solid OT58-OT63 alloy rods created with the indirect 5500 MT press. - ø mm 99.9 copper alloy pipes produced with a 1600 MT press and 152 ton perforator. - ø 4 mm to ø 60 mm solid OT58-OT63 alloy rods created with the indirect 3000 MT press. - ø mm 99.9 copper alloy pipes produced with a 1600 MT press and 152 ton perforator. - ø 4 mm to ø 60 mm solid OT58-OT63 alloy rods created with the indirect 3000 MT press. 12

13 Hard Alloy A strong and matured experience in this sector allows Presezzi Extrusion to offer to the client the supply and technological assistance starting from the initial part of the plant to the scalper. A scalper is an hydraulic machine that removes the oxidized part of the billets in hard, hot alloys before entering the press. Thanks to this process the billet enters the press immediately after the scalping without waiting for stacking and entering the oven, operations which tend to oxidize the surface. By scalping instead of turning stacking is reduced and scraps and oil from elements that generate problems in the re-melting process are eliminated. Revamping If your press still guarantees good service but needs improvements, our qualified engineers will check its current conditions and will be able to create a custom, efficient and affordable solution. Revamping can be "complete" including the re-engineering of entire mechanical, electrical and oil hydraulic parts or "partial" just to replace some main parts such as: the container housing tie rod, main cylinder, extrusion tie rod and other mechanical parts. From the electronic standpoint, our experts are able to update machinery with the latest control software systems that provide higher production control and higher problem solving speed. 13

14 As for the Oil hydraulic system, we are proud to offer our customers the "Patent PE Energy Saving System" which, replacing traditional and obsolete pumping systems, provides customers with significant energy savings along with a significant reduction in oil hydraulic system maintenance. These products, fully designed and constructed by Presezzi Extrusion, are the result of our extensive field experience, especially due to our close relationships with our customers' Production managers. 15 QU.I.C Press Quality Italian Compct Press We have always envisaged an innovative product that could meet the needs of those who wanted to install high performance extrusion systems that are also simple to manage. The combination of durability, simplicity and modern technologies used to create this project significantly reduce system maintenance for the end user. ENERGY SAVING SYSTEM applied to this type of press is based on an innovative motor/pump system with up to 20-30% energy savings (% "restricted" to the type of production). Presezzi Extrusion has focused on 5/6/7/8" systems mainly for lightweight profiles and window and door production even if the 8" extension allows for larger and heavier extruded products. 15

16 Service Specialized staff dedicated to any customer need Presezzi Extrusion does not consider an order completed after a press is delivered, the delivery is only the beginning of work? Even after our machines are assembled, they are followed and monitored by our Service department, one of our strengths, a team of professionals highly specialized in assisting customers during production. Remote Service Initial customer service is provided via Internet. For this reason, each machine or system is equipped with a modem that guarantees systematic service, constantly monitoring each customer's problem. Remote service allows us to identify problems in real-time and, when possible, resolve situations directly from our facilities, thus saving time and increasing productivity. Mechanical service and Spare Parts Our Service department helps customers find the best solution to any Mechanical problem since we are able to provide mechanical spare parts whenever necessary. If on-site service is required, an appointment will be made with our technicians to identify the best corrective measures to be implemented. If, on the other hand, Spare Parts are required, whether standard or special, our staff will be pleased to quickly provide customers with the best estimate for the required parts. 16
