Please complete the transportation section of the appropriate registration page. All transportation requests as well as completed applications must be received by Friday, May 21, 2010, or a space is not guaranteed. Attendance Since the covers a great deal of material in a short amount of time, punctuality and daily attendance is mandatory. Class Schedule Enrichment classes are designed to enrich our basic programs. They are geared for students who would like to experience new information and skills. All classes are 1-1 ½ hour sessions unless otherwise noted in the class description. Due to enrollment sizes, student s schedules may be adjusted. If classes do not have enough students, other classes will be substituted. You will receive a copy of your child s summer enrichment and bus schedules at the mandatory parent orientation on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 6:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church. Date and Time All school conduct codes for the regular school year are in effect during the summer enrichment program. Dismissal from the summer program will be based on these codes. Students are expected to behave in a manner that does not disrupt the learning process. Behavior infractions will not be tolerated. Students who engage in inappropriate conduct will be removed from the summer enrichment program by the administration. Student Dress Appropriate dress is required. All school dress codes are in effect for summer school. Shoes must be worn at all times No hats may be worn in the building T-Shirts and sweatshirts are acceptable as long as they are neat and clean. All shirts must be buttoned. The length of skirts and capris must extend below the finger tips. 5 TONY THOMAS FAMILY KARATE, INC. Focuses primarily on giving students an opportunity to learn life skills while learning how to defend themselves. Also ensures that participants become excellent students in Life as well. MILLIE LEWIS Engagement of young females with personal character development, grooming skills, etiquette, voice/diction, acting, modeling, special outings/activities, community projects, and parental involvement. CHARACTER BUZZ Opportunity to develop positive, supportive peer relationships through group activity. COLUMBIA S COOKING CULINARY OUTINGS Class will focus on providing a variety of healthy cooking and eating experiences. Students will have the opportunity to learn about new cuisines, cooking techniques, and recipes that they may not typically try because of worries about being unable to make the dishes, buy the ingredients, having the dish turn out poorly, etc. JR.
