2 How Do I Create a Talent Profile? Registering for Talent Connect Please follow the steps below to create and register your talent profile: 2. Manage your Talent Profile 3. Click the Create my Talent Profile link shown below. 4. Fill in all of the required information on the Registration page (* indicates required fields). 5. Once completed please be sure to read the Data Privacy Statement, check the box indicating that you have read the statement and click Register. Confirming your Registration 6. You will receive a Verify PG&E Registration at the address you ve provided. Please click the supplied link to complete your registration. (Note: This link will only be valid for 28 days after registration). Page 2

3 Having Trouble Logging In? Logging into the PG&E Talent Connect Career site Please follow the steps below to log in to your talent profile: 2. Manage your Talent Profile 3. Click the Log in to My Talent Profile link shown below. 4. From the Talent Connect log in screen enter your User name and Password and click Log On. Forgot Your Password or User Name? Please follow the steps below if you ve forgotten your password: Manage your Talent Profile 4. Click the Log in to My Talent Profile link shown below. Page 3

4 5. From the log in screen click Forgot/Unlock Password. 6. You will then be prompted to enter a username AND/OR address. 7. Click Request Password and a temporary password (8 characters) and user name will be sent to your registered address. 8. Try to log in again using the password provided in the . Please type in the temporary 8 character password (Note: Please manually type the temporary password. If you Copy & Paste take care not to include any spaces at the beginning or end) 9. You will then be prompted to re-enter the temporary password and create a new password of your choosing. (Note: Your new password must contain a minimum of 8 characters with at least one letter, one special character ( $ % & = * + -.,:;{ } [ ] and one number. Sample Password: (Wabd&9567) Talent Profile Account Locked? Your Talent Profile account will become locked after four unsuccessful login attempts. The Password Forgotten feature on the Talent Connect log in page will also unlock your account if you become locked out. Page 4

5 How do I update my Talent Profile? Please follow the steps below to update and maintain your Talent Profile: 2. Manage your Talent Profile 3. Click the Log in to My Talent Profile link shown below. 4. From the log in screen enter your User name and Password and click Log On. 5. Once logged in click the Update My Profile tab. Page 5

6 6. Beginning with the Resume Upload box -- follow the on screen instructions to complete your profile. If you already have a completed profile and/or would not like to parse a resume you may proceed to Box 2 Personal Data. Note: The PG&E Talent Connect System will only allow one active resume attachment at any time. The file size is limited to 150KB. Searching for a job posting? 2. Manage your Talent Profile 3. Click the Browse Current Openings link shown below. 4. Fill in the desired search criteria and click Start. Results will be returned based on the selected criteria. Tip: Multiple Job Categories, Job Levels and Cities may be selected by utilizing Ctrl-click on your keyboard & mouse. Page 6

7 Apply for a job posting? When you have identified a job, reviewed the job posting details and would like to apply please follow the steps below: 1. If you ve already registered a Talent profile you can click the Log in here link shown below to log in using your existing profile. Otherwise you will need to register a new profile. 2. After reviewing the options and locating a job you d like to apply for click the Continue button shown below: 3. After signing in with your account you will be given an opportunity to input or update your Talent Profile. When you are satisfied with the information proceed to step 9, verify that you ve read and accept the Privacy Statement and click Submit Application. Page 7
