2 F rontier Camp is a Christian Youth Camp and Retreat Center located on Houston County Lake nestled in the tall pines of East Texas. With over 47 years of summer camp success, we are dedicated to sharing Jesus Christ with our campers (Romans 10:15), with the goal of spiritual growth (Eph 5:1). The Bible is the source for what we share, and we take it to be the inspired inerrant Word of God (2 Tim 3:16) A Legacy of Fun & Adventur e Frontier Camp was established in 1969 and is licensed as a youth camp by the State of Texas. We are accredited by the American Camping Association and are a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. We are large enough to offer top-quality camping, yet small enough to ensure that your camper gets personal attention from all of our staff. Frontier Camp s Child Protection Program starts with a careful screening of each staff member for Christian commitment, love for serving youth, camping, and a lifestyle that honors God, but the process does not end there. Each staff member undergoes intensive training before each summer, and the leadership staff attend additional supervisory training. We take a 360 degree approach to our campers safety, and diligently seek the highest standard of child care in the youth-serving industry. These activities are filled according to the date the camper is enrolled. 6 The grass withers and fall, but the word of o stands forever. Isaiah 40:8 Junior camp: We offer 8 different weeks of this exciting camp for boys and girls 7-12 years old. Each camp session lasts from Sunday afternoon to the following Saturday morning, and includes an action packed, yet structured, daily schedule. Some highlights include FC s famous activity skill classes and events (see list on previous page), Bible Exploration (including great music and drama), snack time, and a bonus activity hour before supper. The evening then culminates with a campfire including singing and a Bible message. Campers wind down with showers, cabin devotions, and lights out. Through the week your child will be treated to several special activities, including a shaving cream slide, dinner at the beach, a rodeo, a hayride, and even an extended Friday bonus activity time for those activities they just couldn t get enough of! Junior campers must be at least 7 years of age and not older than 13 when they come to camp.

9 Teen camp: Come join us at Fossil Creek! There are 8 different weeks to choose from. These very popular camp weeks are especially designed with your 13 to 17 year old in mind. Each camp session lasts from Sunday afternoon to the following Saturday morning. Night games, the Titan Challenge, laser tag, a theme meal, and cabin competitions make this week unforgettable. The schedule also includes action-packed self-paced recreational times with an emphasis on outdoor activities such as wakeboarding at our cable park, water-skiing, tubing, adventure activities (ropes), and horseback riding. Seminars, worship times, and evening campfires focus on subjects relevant to today s youth. Space is limited in these smaller camp weeks, so don t delay your registration! All Teen campers must be at least 13 years of age by Sept. 1, 2016 and not older than 17 when they come to camp.

10 Home School Week May 29 June 4 JUNIOR WEEK 1 Designed for homeschooled children between the ages of 7 and 12, this special week gives your child a chance to meet other homeschoolers from all over Texas. Program and activities are similar to our trademark Junior Camp and feature a staff with many homeschool graduates. TEEN WEEK 1 Our camp for homeschooled teens offers the same recreational activities as our traditional Teen Camp, and emphasizes deep Bible studies. Come hang out with other homeschoolers from all over Texas. Space is limited so sign up today to reserve a spot!

Important Info Check-in and Closing: Junior Week Check-in on Sunday is between 3:30 and 4:30 pm at the Chapel. Arriving earlier than 2:00 pm will not expedite the check-in process. Junior Weeks conclude with a closing ceremony at 9:00 am on Saturday morning, and checkout begins at 9:30 am after the ceremony ends. Teen Week Check-in on Sunday is between 4:00 and 5:00 pm at the Quarry. Arriving 3:00 pm will not expedite the check-in process. Teen Weeks conclude with a closing ceremony at 10:00 am Saturday morning, and checkout begins at 10:30 am after the ceremony ends. Medical Info: Current medical history and medical release signature are required for camp attendance. Medical information is submitted online after enrollment. Campers cannot be older than 17 when they come to camp. Y Camp availability can be found on our website. Y A $200 deposit is required to hold your child s spot. This deposit will apply to the total camp fee, but is non-refundable and non-transferable to another child. You can change camp weeks given space availability up until May 1, 2016 with no penalty. All discounts (including the sibling discount) will be taken off the balance and not the deposit. 15 Dir ections to camp Frontier Camp is located in East Texas, approximately 2.5 hours from Houston and Dallas, on the north shore of beautiful Houston County Lake, west of Grapeland and north of Crockett. From Houston take I-45 north and exit Hwy 19, south of Huntsville (exit number 113). Follow Hwy 19 to Loop 304 in Crockett and turn left. Travel 2.5 miles and turn left on FM 229 toward Houston County Lake. Follow FM 229 for 11 miles and watch for Frontier Camp and County Road 2195 signs pointing to the right. Turn right and go a half mile to the Frontier Camp entrance. DALLAS DALLAS FRONTIER CAMP From Dallas take IH 45 South out of Dallas. Exit US 287 at Corsicana. Travel southeast to Palestine. Continue on 19/287 south to Grapeland. Exit Business 19/287 at Grapeland and turn right on FM 227. Take 227 west out of Grapeland about 8 miles to where it veers sharply to the right. Go straight (now on FM 2544) for 1 mile. Turn left on FM 229; watch for Frontier Camp signs. Go 1 and ½ miles and watch for Frontier Camp and County Road 2195 signs pointing you to the left. Turn left and go half mile to the Camp entrance. HOUSTON HOUSTON DALLAS GRAPELAND HOUSTON GRAPELAND CROCKETT From Austin take IH-35 N, exit onto Hwy 79 East. At Marquez, turn right on Hwy 7.
