1 ELITE AND APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION College level Elite Sports and Arts is a special program designed for high-level athletes and recognized performing artists looking to fulfill their dreams and pursue college studies in a quality program. The students in this special program will have to meet a certain number of criteria in order to be accepted by the selection committee and thus benefit from the following services: Schedule for exams and assignments tailored to the special needs of artists and athletes Personalized education supervision Tutoring services Individual coaching for success Access to the college training room TYPICAL STUDENT PROFILE (SELECTION CRITERIA) Trains at least 10 hours per week on average; Recognized as an elite performer at the provincial level in his or her sport; o For individual sports: Ranked in the top 20 provincially in the 2nd year of his or her age category o or in the top 40 in the 1st year; For team sports: The admission criteria are specific to each sport (e.g., Midget Espoir or AAA for hockey, member of the Québec provincial team in soccer, etc.); Maintains an overall average above 70% (all subjects) without failing any subject; Demonstrates independence and a strong sense of responsibility; The program admission process must be repeated every year. STUDENT OBLIGATIONS Show independence and organization; Take the necessary steps to ensure their academic success; Provide a yearly calendar of their absences for competitions, shoots, etc. as well as their training schedule at the beginning of the year; Meet with Ms. Maryse Lachance, academic advisor, to plan the school year; Ensure Internet access during prolonged absences in order to communicate with their teachers and access online courses; Do not disrupt classes upon their return.

2 LIMITS OF THIS SPECIAL PROGRAM Special supervision will be necessary for any student who will be absent for more than 40 days (or 200 course hours) during the school year. Additional financial costs are to be expected. These special cases must be discussed with the academic director before the beginning of the session. PROGRAM FEES: $600 APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE PROGRAM Those interested in joining the Elite Sports and Arts special program must complete and submit the following documents Elite Sports and Arts application form included with this document Athletic achievements in the past two (2) years Athletic objectives (approximately 150 words) Proof of latest ranking (mandatory) Letter of support for this application from the club trainer (only for students newly enrolled in the Elite Sports and Arts special program) Letter of support for this application or proof of recognition from the sport federation as a hopeful or future prospect (only for students newly enrolled in the Elite Sports and Arts special program).
