2 Invitation list for International Christmas tournament in the City of Pilsen Event Date: 26 th 28 th of December 2014 (Friday- Sunday) Place of Event: City sports hall Pilsen, Uslavska 75, Czech Republic Categories: U10 boys, girls and mix (boys and girls together) - born 2005 and younger - only one- day tournament on Saturday 27 th of December. - from morning 8:30 to about 18:00, at 19:00 will be closing ceremony U11 boys (born 1 st of January 2004 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December U11 girls or mix (born 1 st of January 2004 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December U13 boys (born 1 st of January 2002 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December U13 girls (born 1 st of January 2002 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December U15 boys (born 1 st of January 2000 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December U15 girls (born 1 st of January 2000 and younger) 26 th 28 th of December 28 teams took part in our tournament before 2 years (1. year), 4 of them were foreign. 60 teams took part in our tournament last year (2 nd year), 20 of them were foreign. For this year (3 st year) are invited teams from Slovakia, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Serbia, Russia, Slovenia and Spain.

3 Estimated total attendance is around 60 teams. There will be 5 places in Pilsen where the games will play, together it will be 9 basketball courts. Sports Hall TJ Lokomotiva Plzeň, Úslavská 75, Plzeň Slovany (3 basketball courts) Gym SPŠE, Koterovská 85, Pzeň Slovany (2 basketball courts) Gym 25.ZŠ, Chválenická 17, Plzeň Slovany Gym 28.ZŠ, Rodinná 39, Plzeň Lobzy Gym Sports Gymnasium, Táborská 28, Plzeň Slovany (2 basketball courts) Entry fee: 70 for one team; in category U10 30 for one team Playing system: It will be sent together with the fixtures at least two weeks before starting the tournament. Each team will play at least 5 games in the tournament. In category U10 will play at least 4 games in the tournament. Prizes: 1 st 3 rd place Cups and Medals. For each team diploma + prizes. In each category will be announced some individual performances All stars, most valuable player of tournament, the best shooter and the best defensive player. During the tournament will be an accompanying program for the participants: Ability to use free swimming pool (70m from the Sports Hall). Ability to use bowling in the Sports Hall for the whole team for free. Ability to see Pilsen Brewery. Free using of public transport in Pilsen for the participants. For coaches seating and refreshments each night all inclusive free. Evening program of the tournament: Friday, the 26th 12th :00 Opening Tournament - 20:00 Disco for tournament participants - 21:30 Seating trainers with a secure food Saturday, the 27th 12th :00 Concert selected group - for participants and spectators free admission

4 - 21:00 Seating coaches with refreshments Accommodation for players and coaches: 2 types of accommodation Type A: Home for Youth Hostel SPŠE (cca 10 minutes walk from the gym) 2 bads rooms Food is provided in restaurant in Sport hall. 2x full board starting with dinner on 26 th ending with lunch on 28 th Prices of food: breakfast 2 ; Lunch 4.00 ; Dinner 4.00 Price for 1 person for 2 nights + 2x full board = 40 Typ B: Pension (cca 1.5 km from the gym) Eating: breakfast in Pension, lunch + dinner in restaurant in Sport hall 2x full board starting with dinner on 26 th ending with lunch on 28 th In the price of accommodation is included breakfast. Lunch 4.00, Dinner 4.00 Price for 1 person for 2 nights + 2x full board = 60 Buffet in the gym will be opened during the tournament. Each team has the opportunity to buy a tournament T-shirt 8 / piece or order it in advance together with the application team. The main partner of the tournament is SPORTMADE - company, which will have during the tournament venue stand with special prices basketball clothing and footwear!!!!! 5 In the case when the categories will have maximum number of login teams is decisive for taking part in the tournament who sent the registrations earlier!!! Tournament schedule 26 th of December Group games 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. 27 th of December Group games 8:00 to 8:00 p.m. 28 th of December Match for the location 8:00 to 4:00 p.m. 28 th of December Closing ceremony ceremony 4:00 p.m. Team registration will take place on Friday ( 26 th of December 2014) from 8:00 till 20:00 in the Sport hall (Úslavská 75, Plzeň Slovany) in the office of organizers (1 st floor). For category U10 will be registration on Saturday 27 th of December 2014 from 7:00 a.m. Playing system will be sent at least two weeks before starting this tournament it means on Friday 12 th of December After submitting the registration you will receive acknowledgment of your team for the tournament. 6 Rules of international basketball tournament in the City of Pilsen 26 th 28 th of December ) The tournament is dedicated to categories: U10, U11 (boys, girls and mix), U13 boys, U13 girls, U15 boys and U15 girls. 2) It is possible to have maximum 15 players and 2 coaches in each team. 3) It is played with a basketball ball size 5, category U15 boys have ball size 7 and U15 girls have ball with size 6. 4) Height of baskets in categories U10 and U cm, U13 and U cm. 5) Each of participants is obliged to submit identity card for age verification. Photo and date of birth is necessary for us. 6) In the tournament you play according the rules which are used in minibasketball category for season 2014/ 2015 with next changes: The playing time is 4x 10 minutes (time is stopped only during time out, in the last two minutes of the game or in the case of overtime). Each player can play 2 periods in each game. The exception is in category U15 where you can substitute how you want. All breaks between periods take 2 minutes, including the half-time break. Three point shots apply only in category U13 and U15. Obligatory substitution is after 4 th personal foul. Fouling during shooting is punished by 1 free throw with the value of 2 points, when the shot is successful, free throw has got the value of 1 point. Zone defense is banned for categories U10, U11 and U13. In categories U10, U11 and U13 will be apply the rule of 3 seconds. Violation of this rule will be punished by 1 point for attacking team and throw from the half of the court (midcourt line). Repeated violations of this rule will be punished by Disciplinary Committee and this team will be disqualified from the tournament or their score will be forfeited. Picks in categories U10 and U11 are banned. Violation of this rule will be regard as offensive foul and it will be punished in the same way. The coach can take 3 time outs. 1 is in the first half-time and 2 are in the second half-time. In the case, when the coach will take another time-out it will be taken as a technical fault of coach, which will be punished by 3 points for the opponent team and the opponent team will have a ball. In the preliminary groups will be games played with the following key points and profit: win 3pts, tie 2pts, lost 1pt, contumacy 0pt. In case of tie score follow overtime which takes 2 minutes of direct time. If nobody will going to be a winner after this overtime, there comes the free throws (3 series) and thereafter until the decision. Criteria in case of equality of points: 1) match between, 2) difference in score, 3) higher number of scored points, 4) lower number of received points, 5) shootout free throws Each of teams must be prepared on the playground 5 minutes before the match will start. Violation of this rule will be penalized 5 points for the opponent team. Technical fault of player or coach will be penalized by 3 points for the opponent team and subsequent possession. Disqualifying fault of player or coach is punished by 5 points for the opponent team and subsequent possession. Technical fault of coach or player is punished by 3 points for the opponent team and the opponent team will have a ball. Disqualifying fault of coach or player is punished by 5 points and the opponent team will have a ball.

7 Each team can file a claim against the score or driving games to Organizing Committee, at least 10 minutes after the end of the match, together with bail 500 Kč (20 E). In case of refusal of bail forfeited to the organizer. 7) The organizer is not responsible for property of players and coaches. All teams are required to take care of their things, to prevent theft. 8) The tournament fixtures will be sent together with the playing system after the application deadline. It will be posted to your address, which is listed in your registration. 9) Registration deadline is until 8 th of December 2014.
