1 Task K 20 minutes Divide the participants into up to five main working groups. Say that their task will be to link together many of the ideas to form a diagram of the rock cycle, similar to the process of building a rock cycle diagram at the end of session 1. They will need to use labels that are processes and some that are products/names. Slide 2.8 This task is summarised on slide 2.8. Task K: Slide 2.8 Use the materials provided to draw a complete rock cycle Some labels will be products/names: magma, sediment, etc. Some labels will be processes: weathering, pressure, sedimentation, etc. Allocate each group one of the following tasks.
