1 Pro Am Classic DECEMBER 17-20, 2015 Meet Details: Hosts: King Marlin Swim Club-OK and Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming-NT Dates: Dec 17-20, 2015 Location: Lewisville, Texas Facility: LISD Westside Aquatic Center 1750 Duncan Lane Facility Details: Two - 8 lane 25 yard courses for prelims and a single 25 yard pool for finals. 5 lanes available for continuous warm up-warm down adjacent to each prelim pool. Competition course has been certified in accordance with USA- S C(4). The minimum water depth, when measured in accordance with USA-S is 7 feet 0 inches at the start end and 8 feet 6 inches at the turn end for one competition pool and 8 feet 6 inches at the start end and 12 feet 0 inches at the turn end for the other competition pool. Spectator seating for Free parking for 1500 vehicles. Concessions and swim shop available throughout the meet. Meet Director: Paul Thompson (E) auggie1@sbcglobal.net (M) (405) Entry Procedure: Entry into the meet is exclusively through the USA-Swimming On Line Meet Entry Process. The OME will be active beginning Thursday November 12th, The OME will close at 1:00 pm CT on Monday Dec. 14 th, No entries will be accepted through the OME after that time. Entry Priority: Clubs or unattached athletes who competed at the 2014 KMSC Pro Am Classic will have priority attendance rankings for this meet. Event Information: Amateur athletes may swim in 6 individual events with a maximum of 3 individual events per day in prelims. You may enter in as many events as you are qualified for but must scratch down to a maximum of 6 individual events for the meet. Bonus events are available for the amateur athlete at this meet. 1 qualifying time allows for 2 bonus events, 2 qualifying times allows for 3 bonus events, 3 qualifying times allows for 2 bonus events and 4 qualifying times allows for 1 bonus event. Pro athletes may enter and compete in only 4 individual events. There is no scratch down for the pro athlete in this meet. Special Bonus Event 50 Breast: Entry is restricted to athletes who are competing in either the 100 or 200 Breast with a proven time. The event will be seeded based on your fastest proven 100 Breast time. No bonus event entries are accepted for KMSC Pro Am Classic 9/1/2015 1

2 this event. This event counts toward the maximum number of individual events allowed for the meet. Relays: Relays are limited to an A and B relay women and men per team. All relays are swum in the finals session each evening except for relays on Sunday. The option to swim Sunday relays prior to the start of the 1650 must be declared by the scratch down deadline for Sunday events on Saturday evening. All other Sunday relays will be swum in the regular order of events on Sunday evening. Deck Entries: Will be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director based on the number of swimmers in any given event or the total meet. Deck entries will be seeded at the slowest non-conforming time for this meet which is the LCM Bonus qualifying time. In order to deck enter you must have at least 1 proven entry qualifying time in either SCY or LCM. Appropriate meet surcharge and entry fees are required. Proof of current USA-S registration is required for all athletes not already entered in the meet. Time Trials: Time Trials will be accepted at the discretion of the Meet Director. Time Trials count against the daily maximum number of events allowed. It is strongly suggested that you provide your own timers for these events. Distance Events: Since there are 2 competition pools available there is no cap on the number of entries allowed for the 1000 or 1650 Freestyle events. The 1000 Freestyle is a timed final event swum on Thursday evening. The 1650 Freestyle is a timed finals event with the fastest seeded heat of both women and men swimming in finals. These events are swum fastest to slowest alternating women and men. You may use a proven bonus event entry time to enter the 1000 or Unless you SCRATCH out of the 1000 or 1650 you will automatically be seeded. Seeding: Proven times for priority and bonus times will only be accepted by the OME. Priority seeding is short course yards, followed by long course meters, short course yard bonus time and the slowest seeded time is based on long course meter bonus qualifying times. Scratch Schedule: Thursday 1000 Freestyle event by 5:00 PM Thursday evening. Friday, Saturday and Sunday prelim session events must be received no later than 6:00 pm on the evening prior to the scratched event. Meet Attendance Cap: 900 athletes. In prelimins all heats are swam fastest to slowest. The 50 Breast is open for registered athletes who have entered and swam either the 100 or 200 Breast.
