5 2 Introduction 2.1 Overview The Product QuickDIAL is CTI middleware that sits on a Windows 7, 64-bit PC and interoperates with the Alcatel-Lucent OXO platform. Once you highlight a number and hit the hot keys, what actually happens is that the highlighted text is pasted into the Windows clipboard and then all spaces and superfluous information are stripped out and the number is dialed. Once complete, your telephone will start to ring. 2.2 Overview The Guide This document aims at providing: A list of the features available within QuickDIAL, that will greatly assist in providing pre-sales information when communicating with customers or producing a tender. 6 3 Product Feature 3.1 DIAL A NUMBER WITHOUT DIALLING Highlight number with a mouse Hit CTR-F12 (default and configurable) Automatic Dialing The phone will Dial out Automatically No more mistakes because of human error. You simply highlight the number with a mouse. Then hit CTRL - F12 (by default, but configurable) and the system dials out for you using the OXO CSTA interface. The call will be made from your handset as if you had dialed it yourself SIGNATURES, GOOGLE, IT WILL WORK ANYWHERE Any Windows application Databases Signatures, Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, obvious examples QuickDIAL will work anywhere Whatever application you are in, QuickDIAL will work. This is perfect for dialing the occasional number such as in an signature or in a Google search. 3.3 PREVIEW DIALLER. ONE CALL AT A TIME A Preview dialer makes one call at a time. The process has to be repeated each time a call is ready to be made. This is not a progressive or a predictive campaign solution See our QuickCAMPAIGN product for dialer solutions. A Preview dialer offers a simple solution where you do not require the system to make call center type calls one after the other call. 7 3.4 CLICK TO DIAL BUTTON Floating Click-to-Dial button No keystrokes required Works in the same manner but requires no Keystrokes. Sometimes Ctrl-F12 is unacceptable for users and they prefer to highlight a number and then simply click-to-dial. The floating click-to-dial button facilitates this. 3.5 SERVER - WINDOWS 7 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEM The QuickDIAL Server runs on Windows 7 64-Bit Operating system only We chose Windows 7 64-bit operating system as this is the perfect cost effective Windows platform for Small to Medium-sized enterprises 3.6 CLIENT OPERATING SYSTEMS? Windows 7 64-Bit Operating system only We chose Windows 7 64-bit operating system to port our products on as we think this is the perfect Windows platform for Small to Medium-sized enterprises 3.7 Alcatel OmniPCX Office OmniPCX Office (OXO) supported The OXO CSTA license pack must be installed and available. Product Code (3EH03328AA ) A charge may apply for this. Amigo applications have been specially engineered to integrate tightly into Alcatel-Lucent PBXs. The two major platforms are supported and new platforms may be supported as they become available.
