MediaWeb is a product created from Dinets (Digital Information & Networking Solutions) developed from the E-Solution team, which carried out the project and the development of the applications, in this case addressed to E-Health Care. The use of the application allows to decrease pharmaceutical costs thanks to the monitoring of dosage, administration and warehouse upload of drugs in every step. With MediaWeb use, faults will be eliminated: through a barcode bracelet will be possible to identify patients as well as drug. Patients will be more satisfied with their hospitalization, and both medical staff and their activities will be optimized.

Booking exams for the patient from the bed through medical and nursery staff. Booking meals through the screen dedicated to the daily menu (by patient). Video-calling the nursery staff (patient can communicate the reason for intervention).

Therapy prescription systems The doctor may, at any time, prescribe the therapy for the patient directly from the MediaWeb placed on-board of the bed. Information may be disposed using a wireless keyboard, as well as using a virtual keyboard which can be activated on demand on the terminal. Drug administration control from bed-side With MediaWeb health care, hospital will avoid faults due to patient identification and drug administration. Moreover, it will be possible to monitor in real time the load and unload of drugs from the warehouse stock (barcode identification on the bracelet of the patient and on the drug packaging). This function is available from the menu of MediaWeb for the medical and nursery staff. The check-system monitor the whole process The operator who loaded the drug on the warehouse stock, and the hour in which the operation was done. The doctor who prescribed the therapy and the time in which the operation was done. The operator who took a drug and how many time it remained in the ward. The operator who administrated the drug; the patient to which the drug had been administrated and the hour in which the drug had been administrated. 9 USE OF MEDIAWEB TERMINAL All MediaWeb functions may be typed on the touch screen monitor in correspondence with the icons shown. Access to MediaWeb and Hospital services through the CARD. In order to access the services, it is needed to insert the smart CARD (PAYG) on the terminal placed on-board of the bed and to use the touch screen monitor. There are 2 CARDS typologies which are used with 2 different modalities: one is referred to hospital services, and the other is referred to entertainment services. Patient, during his hospitalization, is not isolated anymore from the family and from the outside world.
