All walls and the chamber doors to be insulated with a preferably rigid fibreglass board and staggered layers of fibreglass insulation to provide optimum isolation between chamber interior and exterior. 3 Portable LN2 tanks and control and operational accessories Manifold LN2 leakage 8. Removal of the gas from the pipeline Four numbers of portable 250 lts capacity of LN2 cylinders and control and operational accessories shall be supplied and installed. SS Vacuum jacketed piping along with necessary couplers shall be supplied and installed between the LN2 tanks/cylinders and the system. No flanges shall be used in the pipelines System shall be provided with vacuum jackets (VJ) manifold with redundant vacuum jackets valves with ½ female bayonet connector. The male bayonet connection from the tank supply shall be fixed with proper welding. LN2 tanks and pipeline installation shall be done properly to eliminate LN2 leakage either at the tank or in the pipeline. Keepful / Keep cool devices shall be fixed in the LN2 pipeline to remove the gas if any from the pipeline to ensure LN2 in liquid form is made available to the system 9. LN2 Pressure LN2 pressure shall be maintained at / not more than 50 PSI in the LN2 tanks and LN2 pipeline Temperature system with refrigeration(cooling system) HALT-HASS chamber shall also be designed to perform with mechanical refrigeration system. This should be of separate unit, shall be connected to HALT-HASS chamber through suitable low thermal loss/insulated flexible ducts/hose (length of hose shall be maximum 5 metres) and quick attachable/removable clamping mechanism. Of suitable accelerometers with mounting blocks and 12 Nos. Accelerometers cables of 5 meters length shall be provided 16 channel temperature monitoring device with input card, operating software and 16 numbers suitable thermocouples of 2 metre long, connectors and sockets shall be provided. Software should have the features like: a) Various alarm / Interlocks, Set Points, Heater control status b) Graphical display of % of heat, cooling, & vibration levels c) Test Profile, number of loops remaining, current sequence number and elapsed time. d) Auto tune facility to aid in the tuning of PID parameters of the chamber. e) Doors Lock/open automatic control feature Computer of HP 8000, Intel core i5 650, 3.2 GHz, 4 MB L3 Cache, Intel Q57 or better on OEM Mother Board, 8 GB RAM DDR MHz, 1 TB 7200 rmp serial ATA HDD, DVD writer, 29 LED display, Logitech Multimedia Keyboard and Optical scroll mouse, Six USB Ports, one parallel Port, Ethernet Connection, Preloaded Windows 7 Professional and MS Office 7 with media and documentation and certificate of authenticity, McAfee Antivirus with media and documentation (latest version included in case of windows 7) shall be provided (Mother Board drivers soft copy for Windows 7 & XP Professional).

If the circulator switch is off, or if a limit is tripped, the heating and cooling systems shall become inoperative. Provision shall be made limit the components at an ambient temperature in order to continue the temperature stress, testing beyond the point. Non-adjustable high temperature limits switch to de-energise chamber heaters if chamber exceeds maximum design operating temperature. System shall be equipped with a user selectable Min/Max vibration level safety device. Should protect the heaters in the event of extremely large amount of heat due to disrupted airflow in the chamber. Pressure switch should monitor airflow and shut it down if it detects a problem. System shall have pneumatic door closures for ease with built in interlocks with a finger pinch sensor that will prevent door closing if anybody gets finger trapped in between the doors by accident shall be provided. Additional safety, a plunger mechanism shall be provided inside the chamber when pressed should activate the pneumatic control to release the door open A safety air solenoid valve shall be provided in the system to cut off compressor air supply to vibration table actuators in case of vibration run over A proportional valve and safety valve shall be provided in the system for LN2 feed control As an additional safety, a pressure leak valve shall also be provided in the system to bleed LN2 in case of excessive LN2 pressure occur. System shall be supplied with air purge kit to ensure complete evacuation of nitrogen before doors are opened.

System will be accepted by LRDE after satisfactory completion of installation, demonstration and necessary operation and maintenance training for LRDE engineers and staffs. Detailed operating and maintenance training shall be given to LRDE engineers and staffs for 5 days at LRDE with free of cost. Two numbers hardcopy and a soft copy of detailed Operation and maintenance manual shall be provided. 36 months (In case of repair during warranty all charges for parts and labour including freight charge if any are to be borne by supplier) from the date of installation and acceptance at LRDE, Bangalore.
