2 T/T R21 SilverLine Information Turn and Tilt Turn and tilt fittings system for PVC doors and windows, with integrated assembly appliances for the specialised fabricating workshop. Integrated assembly concept with optimum results Acknowledged quality Wide range to choose from: turn-casements, double casements Central locking mechanisms for bottom hung sashes Lockable balcony doors Sloping windows, arched windows Security versions for single and double casement doors and wondows made from PVC or timber Tilt and turn versions The New Technique The corner pivot and the scissor hinge are flush fitted on to the sash and both have the same drilling pattern. The scissor hinge is fixed according to profile, so that the casement remains in it s set position. All the fittings for the Eurogroove are fitted with snap-in clips to enable automatic screwing. This new concept has reduced the fitting components to the least possible number and so enables the stock and capital tie-up to be kept at absolute minimum. The scissor s ventilation angle is the same on all window sizes. In the range of security fittings, a range which is continually increasing in importance, Schüring has developed the first rolling mushroom headed cam. As the tilt locking device is adjustable there are various possibilities for the setting of tilting angles. The double casement fitting can, from now on, also be automatically screw-fixed. Also note that all other necessary parts such as handles, roller cam striker plates etc. have been firmly integrated, so that a speedier and securer processing is now possible. The Roller Cam A solid coating on the cam minimises friction and corrosion and ensures easier functioning. Each roller cam can, of course, be adjusted with an Allen key, to ensure that the contact pressure of the casement is always evenly distributed. Stepped Cam If it should happen that the window drops, causing the cam to protrude so that it can no longer be adjusted, the protruding cam can be filed down! Rolling is simply better than sliding! The Cam Range Generous travel range with safety margin: the cam travel range of 36 mm allows for a 2-3 mm space allowance between the cam and the striker plate - this means that the position of the strike plate will not have to be altered: Tolerances occurring during measuring of the window are compensated for. Vertical and horizontal adjustments can be carried out on site. The safety of 3 mm ensures that the roller cam, after being correctly adjusted, does not catch on or hit the striker plate. 1
