4 Tourist Attractions Grand Canyon The Grand Canyon is one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. Millions of people take a trip to the Grand Canyon annually, and many make the day trip from Las Vegas either by car or helicopter. There are two main routes from Vegas: the West Rim through a Native American reservation or the South Rim, which is maintained by the US government. The latter is farther and takes around five hours to drive if there s no traffic. Las Vegas History Museum The Las Vegas Natural History Museum has been a Smithsonian Affiliate since The mission of the Smithsonian Affiliations is to share resources with Americans in their own communities by developing collaborative partnerships with museums, cultural and educational organizations. Together with the Las Vegas Natural History Museum, this affiliation brings the Smithsonian, in all of its breadth and scope, to Las Vegas and creates lasting experiences that broaden perspectives on science, history, world cultures and art. Paris Las Vegas Escape from the neon lights of Las Vegas and enter into the City of Lights at Paris Las Vegas, where guests are transported off the Strip and into France s romantic capital. Dining, entertainment, nightlife and accommodations at this resort are très magnifique. Paris Las Vegas captures all the intricate details of the real Paris, right down to the cobblestone sidewalks and half-scale replicas of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. 5 The Palazzo Nestled in the heart of The Venetian Resort and spanning through the spectacular Palazzo Resort, The Grand Canal Shoppes is a luxury shopping center inspired by Venice with cobblestone walkways, illuminated sky ceilings, centered along a quarter-mile long Grand Canal and gondola ride. The center features an authentic replication of St Mark s Square where you will find unparalleled entertainment experiences performed by the Streetmosphere daily. Fremont Street Experience Off The Strip, in the old downtown Las Vegas, is Fremont Street, a pedestrian only area with all kinds of unique sites. A four block section of Fremont Street has been covered over with a canopy of LED lights which light up the sky in a ray of different colors as you walk below. Known as the Fremont Street Experience, each night a fantastic music and visual show takes place overhead. Street performers and special entertainment acts often perform outdoors in this area. The Fremont Street Experience is in downtown Las Vegas, a few kilometers from the new hotel groupings such as Treasure Island and Caesar s Palace. Caesar s Palace Perhaps one of the best known of all the Las Vegas hotel resorts, Caesar s Palace continues to evolve. Currently Caesar s Palace is a massive complex in the middle of the Strip, complete with every imaginable entertainment option. The hotel is closely associated with shows held in its huge concert venue known as The Colosseum. Top performers (which have included Celine Dione and Elton John) perform here for extended periods and shows are often booked out well in advance. Future will be updated soon
