Duties include walking the trails on foot, promoting safe and proper use of the trails by providing information to visitors on Park rules and policies. Uniform: reflective vest, name tag Dog Park Ambassador year round Red Oaks, Lyon Oaks and Orion Oaks Dog Parks The schedule is based upon your availability. Duties include walking the dog park area and interacting with park patrons. Explain park rules, policies and promote programs and events. Uniform: reflective vest, name tag Fridays May - November Natural Resources & Land Management School Credit Volunteer 7:30a.m. 3:30p.m. Volunteers needed: max 5 Oakland County Parks and Recreation (OCPR) Natural Resources Unit is looking for highly motivated students currently interested in the conservation and stewardship of natural resources and land management, and in need of hands-on, field work volunteer hours. Uniform: work clothes May October Glen Oaks, Red Oaks, White Lake Oaks, Red Oaks and Springfield Oaks Golf Courses Various shifts available 4-6 hours per shift, once per week Cart Attendant - your duties include staging, cleaning, and storing golf carts; maintaining a clean work area; and performing other duties as needed. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. 1

Saturday September 17 and 24 Groveland Oaks Haunted Hallows A haunted island where staff and volunteers dress up and spook patrons who walk across the island. Groveland Oaks Dixie Highway, Holly, MI :30p.m. 10:00p.m. Volunteers needed: 23 Assist with event set-up, tear down, dress up, spook the patrons and control access at the bridge. Sunday October 2 Destination 4-H An event promoting the nearly 50 4-H clubs in Oakland County. 11:30a.m. 4:30p.m. Volunteers needed: 10 Assist with S mores station, craft stations and event tear down. Friday October 7 Awesome Autumn Dance An evening event with dinner, dancing, DJ and hayrides for adults with developmental disabilities. Waterford Oaks Activity Center 2800 Watkins Lake Road, Waterford, MI :00p.m. 8:15p.m. Volunteers needed: 11 Assist with greeting guests, help serve food and beverages, event set-up and tear down as needed. Event includes spooky animal nature talks, cider and donuts, and crafts.
