1 2016 ACTIVITY SCHEDULE APRIL 29 MAY 1 OPENING WEEKEND Welcome Back! Free coffee & donuts! Catch up with your camp family Saturday evening at our first annual soup pot luck! Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. MAY 6-8 MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND What better way to celebrate Mother's Day than camping as a family! Join us in making a special craft to give to our amazing moms and host a mommy and me spa day where moms can relax with mimosas and get their nails painted by their favorite little artists. Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. Sunday morning our staff will host a breakfast to show our appreciation for all the love and support we get from our wonderful camping moms! Moms eat free. All proceeds will benefit the Mothers Against Drunk Driving organization. MAY PRINCESS & SUPERHERO WEEKEND Superheros (Police, Firefighters, EMT, Nurses and Military- ID required) get 20% off campsites, cabins and cottages! Dress up as your favorite princess or superhero and join us in decorating our very own princess crown or superhero cape!($) Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday night. MAY CAMPER APPRECIATION WEEKEND Our campers are the greatest and to show our appreciation we are offering ½ price RV and tent sites and 20% off cabin and cottage rentals this weekend! Free pedal cart and boat rentals and ½ price golf cart rentals. To top it all off we are hosting an Ice cream sundae social! Just our little way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support! We love our campers!
2 MAY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND Help us kick off the vacation season with the official opening of our heated swimming pool & splash pad! Whether you're watching or competing in our bocce ball & washer board tournaments, it's guaranteed to keep the good times rolling! Speaking of rolling... don't forget to decorate your bikes and golf carts for our red, white & blue parade! Bingo on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Everyone's favorite, candy bar bingo on Monday morning! JUNE 3-5 NATURE WEEKEND Come out and savor nature with us! Enjoy a weekend filled with fun & exciting hands-on activities Help us plant our own Children's garden, make nature crafts and have a nature scavenger hunt! Bingo will be held Friday & Saturday. JUNE ANIMAL LOVERS WEEKEND Support the local pet rescue and donate pet supplies to be entered into a drawing to win a prize. The Ross Park ZooMobile will be here on Saturday! They will be bringing a variety of live animals for you to watch, learn about and possibly even pet. Enter your pet in our I wish I were a. costume contest where you make your pet reinvent itself. Prizes awarded for the best costume. Bingo Friday & Saturday. JUNE FATHER'S DAY WEEKEND Relax at the lake this Father's Day. Our annual fishing tournament will be held Saturday morning. Test your athletic abilities in our dad vs kids kickball game and father/child pedal cart relay race. Sunday morning we ask the whole family to join us for breakfast to show our appreciation for all the amazing fathers out there! Dads eat free. Bingo Friday & Saturday. JUNE REDNECK WEEKEND Show us your redneck style while we challenge you in our blind folded golf cart race, horseshoe tournament, seed spitting contest, and cow pie bingo! Bingo Friday & Saturday.
3 JULY 1-4 JULY 4TH CELEBRATION Let's celebrate our country's birthday with fireworks over the lake! Have a glowing time with our glow in the dark kick ball game and our glow parade. Don't forget to get out to the lake and catch a turtle for our annual turtle race. Bring along a white t-shirt and we will help you make a red, white & blue design. Hayrides too! Bingo will be held Friday, Saturday, & Sunday with candy bar bingo on Monday. JULY 8-10 FUN WITH FOAM & WATER WAR Wear a bathing suit and we'll get the fun started with a squirt gun and water balloon war! Have you ever been to a foam pit party? Well now's your chance! Wear a swimsuit and come out for a foamy fun time! Bingo Friday & Saturday. JULY THE PCL 500 RACE This weekend we have races for all ages! Stop in the office to purchase a derby car kit Friday evening and we will help you build it for Saturday's race. Boy Scout standards will be used. Design & build a cardboard race car and bring your pit crew (friends & family) and driver (that's you!) to our Race where you'll make three (running) laps around our track while completing a task at each pit stop. Be sure the wear shoes with laces! Bingo Friday & Saturday. JULY th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Twenty years ago the Druck family officially became the new owners of Pine Cradle Lake Campground and to show our appreciation of your continued support of our business we're throwing a party! JULY PIRATE WEEKEND Garrr, ahoy mateys! Land lubbers be wary, this weekend's best suited for pirates. In the morning we will help you build yer own pirate craft. Later, try yer luck at our pirate games. Dress as a pirate and join us as we scavenge the campground in search of buried treasure! AUG 5-7 WET N' WILD & LUAU WEEKEND Dig out those squirt guns and water balloons and join us in a very wet and wild battle. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt, shorts, hat, sunglasses and join us at the pool for a luau! Compete in our limbo and hula hoop contest or just enjoy the show! Bingo Friday & Saturday.
4 AUG CARDBOARD BOAT REGATTA Build your boat and meet us at the lake to race! Cardboard, paint and duct tape only! Prizes awarded for fastest time, most creative design, and the most people in a boat without sinking. If you're scared of water, come and watch the others sink! Bingo Friday & Saturday. AUG FAMILY OLYMPICS Does your family have what it takes to compete as a team in our family Olympic games? We have easy, all ages events so... Grab your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, brothers, sisters and come show us what you've got! If you don't have a family team, we'll adopt you! Bingo Friday & Saturday. AUG OUTDOOR SURVIVAL WEEKEND Do you drink your coffee black, wear flannel, and enjoy the smell of fresh cut firewood? Think you have what it takes to survive in the wild? Compete in a series of survival challenges and prove that you are the ultimate outdoors-man...or woman! SEPT 2-5 LABOR DAY WEEKEND Last weekend Pool is open! There's still time to play, its Labor day!! Find great bargains or sell some unused treasures in our campground wide yard sales. Want a challenge? Enter our washer-board tournament! Love bingo? You'll enjoy this! Bingo on Friday & Saturday, BINGORAMA on Sunday, candy bar bingo on Monday. SEPT 9-11 FALL HAYRIDE SOCIAL Campers gather at the office while we take a hay wagon ride to different campsites for a wide variety of fall snacks and beverages! Campers sign up in advance to have our hay wagon stop at your campsite. Hayride limited to campers providing a snack or beverage. All food and beverages should be fall themed. Campers under 21 not allowed to taste alcoholic beverages. SEPT CHILI COOKOFF-TAILGATE WEEKEND Show us your team pride! Wear your favorite team jersey and hats all weekend! Bring your best players and join in our quarterback challenge and flag football game. Decorate your sites in your favorite team and join us for the best tailgating food ever, Chili! Think you have the best chili recipe? We want to taste it! Cook a LARGE pot of chili to enter the cook-off!
5 SEPT WINE & TRIVIA Gather your friends and get your brain ready for team trivia! Free wine tastings by one of our areas most popular wineries! Bring your favorite snack to munch on! SEPT 30 OCT 2 LITTLE PUMPKIN HALLOWEEN This weekend is more suited for families with younger children! Bring your adorable little ghosts & goblins and let them get creative while pumpkin painting! Wear your costume and come to our Halloween party where there will plenty of fun games & activities! Parade over to the playground where we'll end the excitement with a candy scramble! Bingo Friday & Saturday. OCT 7-9 SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN I Join us for a Boo-tiful weekend at the Lake! Decorate a pumpkin and enter it in our contest for a chance to win a prize!
