2 BMR s Vision Bureau of Middle East Recycling (BMR) serves as the regional forum and voice of the recycling industry in the Middle East. It exists as an organization of diverse recycling processors and stockistscommitted to promoting recycling awareness in the region, transforming handy resources into the industrial raw materials while preserving the natural resources. BMR envisions strengthening cooperation among the Middle East suppliers and worldwide traders and consumers. Eventually placing recycling in the Middle East on the world recycling map. BMR s Mission It is ourmission to promote environmental protection awareness in the Middle East while expanding the course of recycling industry in the Middle East through its members within the Middle East and through ambassadorship. Sharing grassroots market information, industry trends and best practices; as well as to provide a means for appropriate lobbying to collectively address issues of all levels. BMR s Objectives To reach these goals, following objectives were identified:- 1) Unite Recycling Industry. To join hands and make recycling industry in Middle East efficient.to face the new challenges in the present economic turmoil and financial crises and to have solidarity among all members. 2) Create Opportunities. To provide the opportunity for the board members and all professionals to meet on a regular basis and to act as unified forum for the exchange of information relating to the current or prospective business and/or professional opportunities in the Middle East. 3) Free Access and Movement of Commodity.To fight against any form of trade barrier that could jeopardize the free movement of commodities across borders and to intensify the importance of free access to raw materials worldwide. 4) Arbitration. To provide fair and square dealings and methodology. However, any inevitable dispute between buyers and sellers, either within the members or between members and non-members; the opportunity of arbitration is to ensure long term relationship existence and amicable trade.

Any individual or corporate body including professional organizations, involved in collecting, trading and/or processing secondary raw materials and actually belonging to the recycling sector in Middle East. b. Any commercial firm, any individual or corporate body with trading or industrial activities involved in a sector of metal trading or recycling in Middle East. 4 Note:- Any application for membership of BMR will be submitted for examination to an acceptance commission consisting of representatives of BMR for approval by the Membership Committee. 6 Unless otherwise specified, BMR membership dues cover the current financial year (1 st January to 31 December) and are to be settled by the end of January of the current year.
