In 1995, our advanced on-site fire test laboratory was built. It has been designated by UL, under their Witness Test Data Program for fire testing to UL 1479 & UL 2079 for the purpose of conducting UL witnessed burns for through penetration and construction joint assemblies. We are able to precisely monitor all phases of test burns as specified by ASTM E-814 (UL 1479) or ASTM E-1966 (UL 2079). Metacaulk has over 1200 Tested UL systems. Our extensive and diverse capability speeds the development of new firestop products & UL systems, allowing for quicker response to customer needs. Our laboratory Testing & Approvals assure that each and every Metacaulk product will exhibit superior fire containment as well as meet or exceed code compliancies.
