Each session consists of one hour and 15 minutes of volleyball skill training and a 45 minute plyometric session from the USA s leading plyometric trainers, PlyoCity. 2 Pre Summer Evaluation A one hour session with a master coach who will provide a full evaluation including the athlete s strengths, weaknesses and areas of improvement. The pre-evaluation will be a vital tool in directing your training for the summer in order to make your fall as successful as possible. Trainers will measure your vertical, speed, agility and evaluate your skills at hitting, passing, setting, defense and serving. Get professional guidance on what you need to do to become the player you really want to be! Dates: Saturday May 11 (9am-12pm) (1pm-3pm) Saturday May 18 (9am-12pm) (1pm-3pm) *Pick your day and hour. Location: St. Louis Priory Cost: $60 Summer in the Sand Experience a new level of training and playing this season in our Summer in the SAND program. Training in the sand will provide the perfect cross training workout for any athlete. Sand Preview: Learn basic and advanced beach volleyball skills. Playing beach can give you a better understanding of both the indoor and outdoor volleyball game. After training and playing in the sand, athletes will be in terrific volleyball condition when returning to indoor volleyball in the fall. Queen/King of the Beach Competition: Prize for winner!! 3 Weekend Specialty Clinics Get Real Training! This series of intense, one weekend specialty skill clinics that are designed to have small player-to-coach ratios (10:1 maximum) and provide specific physical feedback for the skills that are being taught. This is not your normal camp-this is for players that really want to improve on specific skills. Camps will focus only on one skill set for 8 hours of work. Groups will never exceed 20 players and skills will be taught by a breakdown of the physical steps necessary. Teaching techniques will include video analysis, step-by-step demonstrations and a wide variety of drills to emphasize learning as well as a small group setting. Camps offered: Hitting and Jump Serving: Camp focused specifically on the attack of the ball. Primary focus will be power and teaching the players how to hit a ball harder. Other skills taught will be in shot selection, developing a variety of shots to maximize the hitter s effectiveness. Also provided in this camp is instruction on jump serving, both jump floater and topspin. Dates: May 31-1, June 21-22, July Defense and Serve Receive: Camp teaching all the skills necessary to be a dominate backrow player including rolling, how to extend your court coverage on defense, reading a hitter, learning a systematic way to pass and correct mistakes. This camp is for anyone that plays in the backrow.dates: June 7-8, July Setting: Footwork, technique, and strategy will be taught to every player. Players can expect to get over 1,000 repetitions and build their strength and knowledge at the net. This camp is for anyone who wants to improve as a setter and learn how to make every ball better.dates: July **Camps are scheduled for 3hrs of training on Friday and 5hrs on the following Saturday.
