4 Register/Cancel Play: Miscellaneous: Register up to 2 weeks in advance (in person, internet, phone) Register in your choice of Wednesday time slots: AM18, PM18, or PM9 (early, middle, or late) *18 hole players must have an established handicap Register with your own group, or sign up as a single Tee-times will be posted at IndianPeaksGolf.com on Monday evening Late registration on a space-available basis; please call the golf shop Cancellations may be made by 5 pm Monday before Wednesday play with no penalty; late cancellations or no-shows will be charged corresponding green fee On weeks when competitive events are scheduled, morning 18 and afternoon 18-hole groups will compete separately. The Rules of Golf will govern all events. In the spirit of fair competition, please act responsibly and do not turn in and/or sign a scorecard if you or your playing partners have not played by the rules. Free Rules Seminars are scheduled on May 10 th and 17 th ; As a player, it is your responsibility to know the rules, therefore you are strongly encouraged to attend. For all events, there will be a 10-stroke per hole maximum; the maximum score you can post for handicapping depends on your established handicap- refer to chart by handicap computer. Pace of play improvement tips are on the following page. Please take the time to read this page and incorporate the tips into your playing habits.

5 Pace of Play Improvement Tips: Check in at least 10 minutes before your tee time and be ready to hit when called. The entire group should go onto the tee box together. Limit your number of practice swings to one or two. Play ready golf whenever possible. When you hit your ball, pay close attention to where it is heading. If possible, line it up with a tree or other landmark so you can go right to it. If you can walk to your ball without disturbing your playing partners then do so. Don t cluster around the farthest ball out. Be aware of your position on the course in relation to the group ahead. Any large gaps indicate your group is out-of-position. The pace-of-play is printed on the scorecard. Hit a provisional ball for shots that may be out of bounds or lost outside a hazard. A provisional ball should be played for shots landing in native grass areas. Estimate the yardage and choose your club as you are walking to your ball. Look for another player s ball only after you have played your shot. If your ball is in an area where you don t think you can play it anyway, stop searching and play your provisional. Place your bag or park the cart on the side of the green closest to the next tee. Start lining up your putt while others are putting so that you are ready when it is your turn. Continuous putt if you won t interfere with another player s line. Record your score on the next tee box while someone else is hitting. The hole-by-hole pace of play is listed on the scorecard hole. Playing time for 9 holes should be approximately 2 hrs 15 min. 18-holes should take maximum of 4 hours, 28 minutes. We always want to be ahead of this time.
