3 ACCOMMODATION: This competition is supported by the Brentwood Hotel Wellington Accommodation & Conferencing Centre. 16 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington (0508 BRENTWOOD) Discounted rates have been negotiated. The Hotel is approximately 7 minute walk from the venue. COMPETITOR ENTRY INFORMATION TO NOTE: 1. No restrictions on syllabus apply. 2. There are 5 grades which are: Rising Star, Level 1&2, Level 3&4, Level 5, and Professional. All couples may dance in their grade and one grade above. For example, Level 1&2 may enter into Level 3&4 events. 3. In all the grades, you can choose to dance all or some of the dances. 4. We will accept ALL registrations and allow couples to enter at that registered grade and place themselves at the equivalent level as described above in note Master divisions may also enter the Adult divisions, however; couples may have to dance events consecutively so we suggest competitors are careful of the number of events they enter and strongly suggest you restrict yourself to a reasonable number of events. 6. Level 5 and Open events are open to all competitors within the correct age divisions. 7. The Rising Star events are for the more social level of dancer only. One person of the partnership must be a non-competitor and thus not have won a graded event. This grade is similar to a preliminary event, however; the couple will be judged rather than a solo person. 8. All events listed will be New Zealand Title Events. The title pertains to the dance and not for the level. 9. All 15 dance events will not be danced separately but judged through the highest placed couples in the Level 5/Open events in each age division. Couples will need to enter to be included in the results. 10. We regret to advise that this year a purse will not be offered for any professional competitors. 11. We require all entries to be in by the 17 th May 2016 and would appreciate not having to deal with late entries so please help up by ensuring your entry is in on time.
