1 University of Minnesota All Star and College Cheerleading Championship SATURDAY DECEMBER 13 TH, 2014 Dear Cheer Team Advisors and Coaches: We have set a date for the 19 th Annual U OF M ALL STAR AND COLLEGE CHEERLEADING CHAMPIONSHIP. We hope your team will join us for all the fun and excitement on SATURDAY DECEMBER 13 TH, 2014 at Williams Arena and The Sports Pavilion on the U of M campus. This competition provides our participants with the highest quality environment in the region, including: A separate warm up room which allows you to warm your routine up with music. A big competition arena with plenty of seating from friends, family, and fans. Both gyms will have a full 54 X 42 spring floor. Division Championship T-Shirts will be given to the first place team in all of the Varsity High School, College and Senior All Star Divisions. As well as a Grand Champion Jackets for the highest overall score of the day in both the Senior All Star and Varsity High School Division. Bids to US Finals, WOW Factor Nationals and AMAZING! Champions. Because we want to benefit teams that compete at the Minnesota State competition AND those who compete at Nationals, the Minnesota State High School League s division breakdowns will apply with all UCA rules and regulations. A copy of the UCA rules and judging sheet can be found at under the Competition heading, and the division breakdown is listed on our registration form. (Please Note: divisions may be altered so that each team is competing against an appropriate number of competitors). To confirm your place in this year s competition, simply fill out the enclosed registration form and return it with your registration fee by Friday, November 28 th to U of M Spirit Squads, Attn: Spirit Squad Event Staff 1925 University Ave. SP #140 Minneapolis, MN REMEMBER, a $100 late fee will be charged for all entries not received by the deadline. Additional information on parking, accommodations, awards, etc. will be sent to you following your registration. All Star teams must fill in their level beneath the divisions. For questions on school divisions please check the MCCA web site at and check the school division located on the Registration Form, under State Competition ( If you are a novice team please write that after your division- we may add a novice category. 6 University of Minnesota Cheerleading Championship INJURY WAIVER Saturday, December 13 th, 2014 I,, in consideration of the University of Minnesota giving me the opportunity to participate in the 2014 University of Minnesota Cheer Championship, agree that the University of Minnesota shall not be liable for any damage or injury sustained to me as a result of my participation. I acknowledge that by participating as above mentioned, I voluntarily assume all risks and dangers known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, attendant to my attendance and participation at the event. I further declare that this release contains the entire agreement between the parties and that I have read and fully understand the foregoing release. PARTICIPANT PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST SIGN IF PARTICIPANT IS UNDER 18 YEARS OLD DATE **ALL INJURY WAIVERS MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED BY ALL MEMBERS OF YOUR TEAM.
