2 Website Design - Options & We typically design and produce three different types of websites. Every web project has specific requirements, so the information below is intended as a guide only for budgeting purposes. Should you select Staffordshire IT for your project, we ll provide a complete, fixed-price quote prior to commencement Page Starter Sites Staffordshire IT starter sites are a perfect mix of price and design which enables you to avoid the build your own offerings that are becoming attractive to new startups and sole trader businesss s that although very cheap (some as little as 50) they still require a lot of effort on your part and after all your effort still generally look pretty awful at the end as these sites in their nature have to be very constrictive in design and funcionality. Each site we build is properly designed and coded for you by our inhouse staff and generally contain a home page with text and pictures (and video if you have any) and a services or products page with a contact form. 3 2. Static Brochure Sites Brochure style websites are information-only sites, typically of 10 pages or less with general image and text content that cannot be edited via a content management system. Updates to the site when required will need to be completed by Staffordshire IT which if not part of this proposal will incure our standard design charges of 40ph We approach these projects by designing initial concept layouts, developing these design to your approval and building the site using clean efficient CSS Modal coding, with a mix of PHP, mysql, JSon (Jquery) and HTML. Typically we produce a single initial concept design for the home page and if applicable one other key page of the site. The charges below are inclusive of all design and build costs. Content Managed Website - Ultimate in epandability Our CMS Sites allow a far far greater degree of flexibility and management of your website and are perfect for small business s right up to corporate customers. It allows you to manage all your text and image uploading, editing and deletion you may add pages, sections and categories, videos, products, shopping carts, secure document storage and sharing and many more functions for a more involved website, and the best bit is that despite their power and funcionality then are an absolute joy to operate and maintain. All CMS systems (if hosted with us) are automatically backed up every 15 minutes meaning if someone breaks a page (very unlikely), your sites hacked or you simply just dont like what you ve jsut done, you can perform an instant rollback! We approach these projects by designing initial concept layouts, developing these designs to your approval and building the site. Typically we produce an initial concept design for the home page and one other key page of the site. The advanced CMS system allows for large numbers of pages and content to be created directly via the admin system. Pages are constructed to templates, therefore we charge for template build rather than a per page cost. 5 Other Information Compatibility and Search Engine Optimisation Sites designed and built by Staffordshire IT are optimised for display on all current browsers (Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome etc). We do not support older, outdated versions of Internet Explorer. If you are suppling us with content for your site, we suggest that all copy is written specifically for web use and optimised for search engines. Toast can not be accountable for search engine rankings of copy/content that we did not produce. We strongly suggest that all out clients work with an SEO specialist to write copy and prepare content for the site. Working with Staffordshire IT for the first time? As this is your first project with us, we will require a deposit payment prior to commencement of the project (typically 40% of the total project cost). Payment Terms Deposit invoices are due upon receipt. Further invoices are due to 30 day terms (please see full Terms and Conditions below). We accept payment by Cheque or Bank transfer. We now also accept payment from Debit/Credit cards via the PayPal system (subject to a 3% handling fee). What happens next?
