2 GENERAL TOUR CONDITIONS NOTE: The cancellation fees stated below are basic and will apply to anyone who cancels. Additional Airline Cancellation Charges may be incurred in accordance with the particular rules of the airline used. Most tickets are nonrefundable, but every effort is made to recover all funds possible. PLEASE READ YOUR TOUR CONDITIONS CAREFULLY ACCOMMODATIONS: Deluxe and First Class hotels throughout the tour. Price is based on TWO persons sharing a room. If you do not have a roommate and Ed Hill Tours (EHT) is unable to arrange one, you must pay a supplemental charge. Single rooms are subject to availability and some may be smaller than most twin or double rooms. MEALS: A full breakfast & dinner is included in Israel, Greece, Jordan & Egypt. Other destinations include a Continental breakfast and some dinners. Some tours may include dinners out or dinners on your own. Lunches are included on cruises but not otherwise unless they were included at the tour host s request. SIGHTSEEING: Includes the services of an Englishspeaking (or requested language) guide, all entrance fees to sites included in the program, and private motor coach or other conveyance as indicated on your tour brochure. LUGGAGE: One suitcase will be handled for you upon arrival overseas after clearing customs and transferred between airports/piers and hotels, etc. You must have proper group Identification on all checked pieces of luggage while on tour. Travel & cancellation insurance should be purchased to protect passenger against loss. TRANSFERS: You will be transferred with the group between arrival airport/pier and hotels, and to departure airport/pier. NOT INCLUDED: Not included in tour price unless arranged by the tour host: 1) Gratuities 2) Airport taxes & departure taxes 3) Passport fees & Visas 4) Immigration & Customs fees 5) Fuel surcharges as imposed by airlines, cruise ships or other suppliers 6) Domestic transportation from/to your hometown to the group departure city 7) Port charges, as applicable. ALSO NOT INCLUDED: Personal items such as laundry, room service, phone calls, mini bar, beverages other than served with meals tips for personal favors, excess baggage fees, forwarding of baggage and transfers other than with the group. GRATUITY CHARGE: Pre-collected gratuities cover the following: guide, driver, hotel & dining room staff and porterage of 1 piece of luggage. NO SOLICITATION IS MADE BY EHT FOR ADDITIONAL TIPS DURING YOUR TOUR. Any additional tipping to guides, drivers or service personnel is strictly voluntary. TOUR PRICE: Price is based on double occupancy. Single accommodations are additional. Prices are based on tariffs, exchange rates, and other legal regulations in effect at the time the brochure is printed. In the event of increase, EHT reserves the right to adjust the price accordingly. Passengers joining tour within 30 days of departure are subject to additional fees. Unless otherwise indicated, the cost of the arrangements as outlined in this brochure is based on tour participants per coach. A supplemental charge p/p will be added if the group size falls below 40. Consult your tour leader. CANCELLATION FEES: A minimum cancellation fee of $ will be applied to anyone who cancels for ANY reason. DEVIATIONS: Passengers diverting from the scheduled tour itinerary will be charged a non-refundable deviation charge per change. FLIGHT TIMES: Subject to change without advance notice. Ed Hill Tours is not responsible for airline flight cancellations, schedule changes and delays and can not reimburse passengers for expenses resulting from such delays or cancellations. Ed Hill Tours recommends the purchase of travel insurance to cover any losses that may be incurred. If the airline(s) changes flight schedules, Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to lengthen or shorten the itinerary accordingly. A corresponding cost increase may occur if additional nights/meals are necessary. INSURANCE: It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel and cancellation insurance. An excellent policy will be provided for you to purchase. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE: Any tour member requiring special assistance must be accompanied by a traveling companion who will assume all responsibility for said tour member. Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to refuse passage to any tour member deemed unfit to travel. LATE BOOKING FEES: Registrations received within 30 days of departure are subject to a minimum late fee of $ Expedited mail and delivery charges will be also passed along to the late tour member as well as Increases in airfare should group rates no longer be available. RESPONSIBILITY: Edward B. Hill Tours, Inc agrees to arrange the tour outlined in this brochure, which represents the entire agreement between the passenger, agent, tour host, and Ed Hill Tours. Except for the willing negligence of an employee of Ed Hill Tours, Ed Hill Tours assumes no liability or responsibility for any injuries, damages or losses, accidents, delays, changes in any scheduling, irregularity or incidental damages resulting from circumstances beyond the control of Ed Hill Tours. Ed Hill Tours is not responsible for default or omission of any private or commercial carrier or third party providing services connected with this tour or any omission on the part of the tour host. The airlines or cruise lines are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time the passengers are not on board the plane, ship or conveyance. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or cruise lines or other lines involved, when issued shall be the sole contract between the said parties. Ed Hill Tours assumes no liability or responsibility in connection therewith. Ed Hill Tours acts as an independent contractor and does not own or operate any third party firm such as airlines, cruise lines, bus companies, or land operators that compose tour programs. PLEASE NOTE: Ed Hill Tours reserves the right to make corrections to final accounting without fault or blame and to collect any additional difference (even if payment in full has been received) due to an unintentional omission in accounting any services/s or due to any error in typing of agreed pricing. 3 ITINERARY FOR 11 DAY ISRAEL TOUR Day 1 - Depart USA Today tour members meet at their departure airport for check-in formalities and a get-acquainted time. Dinner and breakfast are served during the flight and we have time to rest. Day 2 -Tel Aviv We arrive in Israel at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. After brief airport formalities and baggage claim, we meet our guide and are escorted to our waiting deluxe motor coach. Due to an early arrival we will have time this day to visit the ancient town of Jaffa located just north of Tel Aviv. We will then proceed to check-in, dinner and overnight at the 5 star deluxe Dan Panorama Hotel located on the Mediterranean Sea. Day 3 Caesarea / Mount Carmel / Megiddo / Nazareth Village / Cana / Tiberias We begin the first full day of our spiritual journey in the Holy Land by traveling north along the Mediterranean Sea to visit Caesarea, the ancient seaport built by Herod the Great. Paul was imprisoned here and this was the site of Peter's first Gentile convert. Then we ascend to Mount Carmel, the site of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. From here we have an astounding view of the Jezreel Valley/Valley of Armageddon. We then visit Megiddo with its 24 layers of civilizations. This was Ahab s chariot city and one of the most strategic crossroads of the world in Old Testament times. We proceed to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Jesus, and tour Nazareth Village, a re-creation of Nazareth when Jesus grew up there. We drive to Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed His first miracle, then on to Tiberias where we have our first view of the beautiful Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight at the deluxe Scots Hotel or Leonardo Plaza located by the sea shore. Day 4 Galilee Boat Ride / Jesus Boat / Mt of Beatitudes / Tabgha / Capernaum / Jordan River View the sunrise over the tranquil Sea of Galilee. After breakfast we take a boat ride across the Sea of Galilee, stopping on the Sea for a brief service. We visit Nof Ginossar to see the recently discovered ancient boat from the time of Jesus, and then proceed to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus spoke the Sermon on the Mount. There we will have a service overlooking the Sea of Galilee. We drive a short distance and visit Tabgha, site of the multiplication of loaves and fishes. A very short drive brings us to Capernaum, the center of Jesus ministry where we view the House of St. Peter and visit the ruins of a 2nd century synagogue. A delicious St. Peter s fish lunch awaits us at a famous Kibbutz beside the sea, and then we drive up the Golan Heights to an overlook with spectacular vistas of the entire Sea of Galilee region. Our day ends at the Jordan River with an opportunity for baptism. This evening we will enjoy a lovely Shabbat Dinner at our hotel and overnight there once again. Day 5 - Golan Heights / Caesarea Philippi / Mount Ben-Tal / Old Syrian Bunkers This will be a day of adventure. We drive to the Golan Heights, a strategic yet beautiful plateau. We ascend Mt. Ben- Tal and tour old Syrian bunkers and enjoy a remarkable view into Syria. Driving down from the Golan Heights, we see the crusader fortress known as Nimrod's Castle. We travel to Caesarea Philippi/Banias, the site of Peter's confession: "Thou art the Christ." There we will stand at the headwaters of the Jordan River, visit the ruins of ancient temples and have time for a walk by the stream and waterfall. We return to Tiberias for dinner and overnight at our Hotel. Day 6 - Bet Shean / Jericho / Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea This morning we travel through the Jordan Valley to Bet Shean, one the the ancient cities of the Decapolis dating from the 5th Century B.C. Today it is the site of the largest archaeological excavations in Israel. We will drive through Jericho, viewing the Mount of Temptation and Mount Nebo in Jordan, from which Moses viewed the Promised Land. We visit Qumran, the discovery site of the Dead Sea Scrolls. We travel along the Dead Sea to Masada and ascend by state-of-the-art cable cars to visit the mountaintop palace of Herod the Great and the famous fortress, where from A.D , the Jewish defenders made their last stand against Rome. We will view the fascinating remains of Herod s palace, storehouses, cisterns, and an ancient synagogue. We visit the Dead Sea - the lowest point on earth, where we can swim and enjoy the therapeutic properties of the water without the possibility of sinking. We then begin our ascent of nearly 4000 feet to Jerusalem. Our first view of the Holy City will be from Mt. Scopus where we will have time to reflect on our entry. Dinner and overnight at our beautiful hotel in the center of Jerusalem.

4 ITINERARY FOR 11 DAY ISRAEL TOUR Day 7 - Jerusalem / Bethlehem We begin our first day in Jerusalem at the Mount of Olives, with an outstanding view of the Old City walls and the Eastern (Golden) Gate. From there we descend by foot on the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane for a service in the Garden with time to reflect in this lovely setting... olive trees, perhaps 2000 years old, still stand today. We travel around the Old City walls, viewing the tombs of Absalom and Zachariah and continue to the House of Caiphas, where Jesus was held the night before his crucifixion there we will stand on the same stone steps Jesus would have walked up Mount Zion. We then go to visit The Upper Room (Last Supper Room) and have a brief service. After lunch, we travel the short distance to Bethlehem. There we will view the Shepherd's Fields and tour the Shepherd's Caves and the 1600 year-old Church of the Nativity. After arriving back in Jerusalem, we have dinner and overnight at our Hotel. Day 8 - Jerusalem We will motor through modern Jerusalem, viewing the Knesset, seat of the Israeli Parliament, then go to the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed and visit the amazing scale model of Jerusalem at the time of Christ. We proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the six million Jews who perished during the Holocaust. After lunch, we walk through the Cardo, the bustling heart of ancient Jerusalem; then visit the Western (Wailing) Wall where we may write prayers on paper and place them in the niches of the wall. We proceed to the Pool of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne, where we can sing in a church with a 10-second echo! This day we will visit the Western Wall Tunnels. We leave the Old City through the Lion s Gate. Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Day 9 - Jerusalem We enter the Old City of Jerusalem in view of the Southern Steps to the Temple Mount. We go to the Lithostratos, where we view the actual streets of Jerusalem Jesus would have walked, the remains of Pilate s Judgment Hall and the Ecce Homo Arch. We then walk the Via Dolorosa, passing through intriguing markets and bazaars. This afternoon we visit the Garden Tomb, which is considered the highlight of our tour! There we will worship and celebrate communion beside the empty tomb. "He is risen; He is not here!" What a wonderfully meaningful conclusion to this truly memorable day! Dinner and overnight at our hotel. Day 10 - Jerusalem at Leisure Enjoy a day at leisure to revisit a special place, pick up some last-minute bargains or just relax. There will be time to prepare for our return flight. In the evening, we enjoy a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant before our late evening departure back to the U.S. Day 11 - Tel Aviv / USA Today we arrive back in New York/Newark and connect to our hometown cities. We return to the USA with many fond memories of our fantastic journey -probably already making plans for the next one! Note: This is a basic itinerary. Additional sites may be added and certain sites may be deleted by the tour host and / or the guide. Although every effort is made to include all sites and add more sites, the sightseeing sequence and daily routing may change due to actual arrival time, local conditions and pre-set appointments at several sites for the group. The nights in each city will remain the same.
