2 Item 1.1 Types of financial aid In order to encourage student participation in international mobility programs (International Exchanges, Campus Abroad, Double/Joint Degree, Master CEMS-MIM, Themis) as well as internships which are organized or recognized by Università Bocconi, the following aid is available to all who meet the merit and economic requirements outlined in these Application Requirements and Regulations: Eligible Students Type Students eligible for the ISU scholarship: ISU additional financial aid A ( integrazione ): the amount will vary based on the type of program and its length. This financial aid will be assigned only if funding permits, once all ISU Bocconi Scholarships have been paid to eligible. The overall number will be decided upon by the Consiglio Direttivo ISU, depending on the available resources. ISU additional financial aid B ( contributo ): this financial aid is worth 1000 independent of the type of program, the destination and the time spent abroad and will be guaranteed to all eligible Other whose economic situation is consistent with both the following Italian parameters: - ISEE/ISEEU ISPE/ISPEU Financial aid offered by Bocconi University for the participation in International mobility programs and internships: this financial aid is worth 1000 independently from the type of program, the destination and the time spent abroad. It is not compatible with funding received from companies, EU programs and MIUR. Additional info on ISEE and ISPE is available in the ISU regulations application requirements and regulations. It is possible to be awarded only one of the above mentioned types of financial aid and just once for each degree program: who are assigned aid as foreseen by these Application Requirements and Regulations may not receive any other aid pertaining to international mobility unless they have renounced the previously assigned financial aid in writing within 15 calendar days from the time of receipt of the notifying them of the assignment. Otherwise the aid will be considered as accepted, and the student will be excluded from subsequent rankings for additional financial aid for internships and mobility programs for the remainder of the degree program. Please note that the ISU additional financial aid B contributo is guaranteed to all considered eligible in the relevant ranking: if funding permits, a number awarded with the contributo may be also awarded with integrazione at a later stage. In this case the amount already received as contributo will be deducted from the amount allocated for the integrazione.

4 Item 1.3 Financial aid for internships To participate in international internships organized by the International Relations Service and Career Service at Universita' Bocconi, and in internships in Italy at public administration, International Organizations and NGOs, that have the following characteristics: - a minimum duration of 10 weeks: - are non-paid internships; - are at least 100 km from Bocconi University and the student's city of residence The following types of financial aid are available: TYPE AMOUNT NUMBER OF AWARDS financial aid A ( integrazione ) financial aid B ( contributo ) Fixed amount of 1300 No fixed number; see item 1.1 Awarded to ALL eligible University Financial aid - 10 for internships in Italy for internships abroad Students eligible for application: - undergraduate and law : enrolled in the 2 nd, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th year or 1 st fuori corso in the A.Y ; - graduate : enrolled in the 1 st, and 1 st fuori corso in the A.Y Only in the case of application for University financial aid can who graduated, at the latest, in their 1 st year of fuori corso and started an internship started within 12 months of graduation and are not currently enrolled in another University apply for financial aid. Item 1.4 Merit requirements Only the applications of who meet the following merit requirements will be considered for both the ISU and the University financial aid :

Please note that once the bnus credits were used, they no longer matured. Students enrolled in the 2 nd year and the 1 st year fuori corso of a Master of Science Program may use residual bonuses that had not been used during the Bachelor program. If have never used a bonus during their Bachelor program then the bonus counts for 15 credits. Students who have obtained their Bachelor degree from another Italian university must present, along with any requested documentation, appropriate certification attesting to the number of bonuses matured but not used.

6 Item 1.6 How to apply Applications both for financial aid A and B and the University Financial aid for International mobility program must be submitted by filling out the online MsDesk application available at and providing all required supporting documents by the deadline indicated below. The application does not require to identify the type of award the student is applying for: the system will automatically allocate in different categories based on their economic data. Applications should be submitted starting from 2 August, 3 p.m. and before the following deadlines: TYPE OF PROGRAM DEADLINE FOR PRESENTING ONLINE APPLICATIONS International Exchange, CEMS, Double Degree and Themis 20 September 2012 by 15:00 (GMT +1) Winter Campus Abroad Summer Campus Abroad 10 December 2012 by 15:00 (GMT +1) 9 May 2013 by 15:00 (GMT +1) Those who are planning to undertake an internship program in the period between 1 August, 2012 and 31 July 2013 should submit their application preferably in the first round together with the ISU scholarship application. Nevertheless those who fail to submit their application before September 20 TH, may also apply in the second round. In order to avoid missing out on financial aid for internships, are invited to submit an application in one of the two rounds even if they are not sure to actually undertake an internship and/or its timing. ROUNDS DEADLINE FOR PRESENTING ONLINE APPLICATIONS* First round 20 September, 2012 by 15:00 (GMT +1) Second round 27 June, 2013 by 15:00 (GMT +1) * The round in which your application will be taken in consideration will be determined by the date on which the online application is closed. Strictly within ten calendar days of the online application deadline, the documentation requested in these Application Requirements and Regulations will have to be handdelivered in a sealed envelope to the Welcome desk of One Stop Service and receipt must be kept as proof of the delivery; or they may be mailed by registered mail (Raccomandata r.r.), in which case the date stamp on the postmark will be considered, at address:

7 Ufficio Servizi agli studenti / ISU Bocconi Piazza Sraffa, 11, Milano In order to correctly complete the application, the following documents are needed; failure to present them will result in the exclusion from the rankings: a copy of the summary review of the online application received by upon completion of the online application process, duly signed by the student; a copy of the student s valid identity card/passport; the same documents needed to apply for ISU scholarship Should the documents listed for the ISU scholarship for the academic year , it won't be necessary to deliver a further copy; a duly signed application and a copy of the student's identity card or passport will suffice. Verifications of the ' actual participation in the programs will be carried out internally by Università Bocconi relevant offices. Item 1.7 Rankings ISU Financial Aid The rankings for assignment of Financial Aid for internships and international mobility programs type A ( integrazione ) are created according to the same procedures used to establish ISU Bocconi scholarship rankings. No rankings will be issued for the assignment of Financial Aid type B ( contributo ): all eligible for the integrazione will automatically be considered eligible for contributo. Students who already are eligible beneficiaries of aid for mobility or internships during the same study cycle who have not communicated in writing that they do not want this aid within 15 days of the aid assignment will not be placed as eligible beneficiaries in the ranking for mobility or internships, regardless to whether the previous benefit that was assigned has already been awarded or not. University Financial Aid The ranking order is determined in increasing order based on the following formula: 70 x I.S.E.E./I.S.E.E.U value + 30 x I.S.P.E./I.S.P.E.U value. Students with lower economic parameters will therefore have a higher position (lower number) in the ranking; where parity occurs, the student enrolled in a higher degree program takes priority and where parity occurs again the younger student takes priority. Item 1.8 Publication of results The provisional results of applications will be published on the MsDesk approximately by the following dates, for at least 15 days: International Exchange, Master CEMS-MIM, Double/Joint Degree and Themis 4 February 2013; Winter Campus Abroad - 4 February 2013; Summer Campus Abroad - 27 June 2013;

8 Internships: dates of publication will be communicated via Students will be notified with the publication of the results via . Any appeals against temporary rankings or requests for revision due to errors of the applicant must be received by ISU Bocconi by and no later than 15 days from the publication of these provisional rankings. Those wishing to make appeals/requests for revision may present an application only at the MS Desk and provide all the documentation needed to justify the reasons for an appeal. The outcome of appeals and requests for revision will be posted on the MS Desk together with the final ranking. Item 1.9 Payment of grants Payment of grants will be made prior to verification by the Università Bocconi International Relations Service that the student has met all obligations related to participation in the programs. Payment of grants for international mobility programs to in their first year of a Master of Science program depends on whether the student meets the merit requirements by 10 August 2013 as described in these Regulations. The grant will be paid at the end of the mobility period, upon verification of the requirements. The date set for the payment of the Contributo will be communicated directly to via . Payments will be made only after the completion of the program.
