4 ABOUT CAMPUS AMSTERDAM (0) Wittenborg University Amsterdam Piet Heinkade 55, 1019 GM Amsterdam Founded in 1987, Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences today has over 500 students from more than 70 countries, and is the most international school of higher education in the Netherlands. It has its headquarter campus in the city of Apeldoorn, The Netherlands. Our 100% independent not-forprofit private University offers a challenging array of English-taught Bachelor and Master programmes. The Bachelor International Business Administration (IBA) has tracks in fields such as Entrepreneurship & Small Business, Hospitality Management and International Tourism. In the coming years new Wittenborg schools will be opened with a focus on Art & Technology, Health & Social Care, and Education! In September 2015, Wittenborg opened its second campus in Amsterdam, focussing on Entrepreneurship & Small Business. Amsterdam is known to have one of the largest business startup communities in Europe, a perfect environment for these studies. Being in a startup city, we decided to bring the startup culture to education. Equipped with our very own in-house startup incubator Incubator UP we connect you to real entrepreneurs and their companies. Students are always encouraged to seek guidance from these mentors an invaluable experience built right into the structure of our programme. 5 A DOUBLE DEGREE Upon graduation, you will have a unique opportunity of earning two internationally renowned degrees: a Bachelor International Business Administration in Entrepreneurship & Small Business (BBA) from Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences and a UK Bachelor of Science in Business (BSc Hons) from the University of Brighton. The programme is unique in the Netherlands, the third year being jointly delivered, with lecturers from the University of Brighton s Business School travelling to Amsterdam to teach. This enables students to experience both the Dutch-style applied sciences teaching, and the academic rigor of a British BSc degree, opening up doors to future Dutch, UK, or any other internationally recognised university Masters programmes something that only Wittenborg can offer! SIX START DATES Start when you want. Every schedule is different, and that s why new students can enter our programme on six (that s right, six!) dates per year: September, October, November, February, March, and May. We want you to start when you re ready for it! AFFORDABLE PRIVATE AND FULLY ACCREDITED EDUCATION Our Bachelor programme is fully accredited and recognised internationally, preparing you for a masters education anywhere in the world. For Dutch students, your studies are fully eligible for financial support both for tuition fees and for studying and living costs. DUO/(Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs, is the Dutch national government agency you can address to secure your own financial living costs and tuition fee support.

That is why we offer all of our students opportunities to go abroad for example to Kenya, Philippines, China & the U.K. allowing you to truly go far and grow fast.

10 Your own way experiment, experience, explore You have our support all the way, but it is our experience that living and breathing startup entrepreneurship yourself is the best source of entrepreneurial know-how. Through this exciting process you will truly discover your own way.

12 The personal approach you re not a number Teachers will know your name and you will get the proper amount of personal attention, counsel and coaching. We ve discovered that smaller groups also make for more intense and productive discussions, collaboration and teamwork.

14 Identity becoming yourself The ability to recognise what you re great at will make you more focused and successful. You will learn to identify your strong and weak points; in this way, you will also grasp the importance of learning to work with others as your best self.

16 Student & entrepreneur as one getting a head start with your own startup Got tons of ambition? Good! We will stimulate and support you during your studies with your own personal startup process of: conception, development, prototyping & execution. You will become a student-entrepreneur, pursuing your own startup as you would in the real world.

18 Learning by doing theory you can put to practice Putting theory into action is one of our core beliefs and an integral part of your studies. The theoretical knowledge gained will be of practical use immediately during your studies and after obtaining your degree.
