2 VS Light Controller L The VS Light Controller works with the international standard for lighting that makes it possible to connect -compatible operating devices made by different manufacturers. Up to 64 operating devices can be combined individually in up to 16 groups. 16 different scenes can be stored in each operating device. The VS Light Controller is designed for DIN rail mounting within a junction box. The Light Controller features a display panel and rotary push-button to enable user-friendly system configuration directly at the Light Controller unit.

9 VS MultiSensor Adding lighting and movement sensors to the system will make it possible to exploit the full energy-saving and convenience-increasing potential offered by LiCS. To this end, VS has developed a new two-in-one sensor for detecting lighting levels and movement. As this sensor is only connected to the bus, no mains connection is required. This design simplification has enabled very small dimensions that make the MultiSensor ideal for space-saving installation. Coupled with three different design options, the small dimensions of the unit open up new design possibilities for built-in applications. The VS MultiSensor is designed for integration into a VS LiCS system, which means it must be configured using a VS Light Controller. The VS Light Controller LW delivers the same performance as the L model, only now with the additional option of adding wireless capabilities to the system. 12 Wireless Components with EnOcean technology A so-called "Wireless Repeater" can be added to the system to increase the range between wireless transmitter and the LW Light Controller. Without having to be configured, the repeater merely needs to be activated in either one- or two-level mode. 15 VS Extender The new VS Extender was designed for use with LiCS in lighting applications with a requirement for more than 64 luminaires corresponding to the maximum number of addresses a standard system can support. Once the primary side of the VS Extender has been connected to the "parent" system and been given its own address, a further 64 -compatible operating devices can then be connected to the secondary side of the VS Extender. Additional VS Extenders can be added in the same way if yet more luminaires need to be connected. All devices connected to the secondary side of the VS Extender will work in an identical manner. VS MultiSensors cannot be operated on secondary side of VS Extender. The VS Extender provides an easy option to get around the restriction of a maximum of 64 operating devices.
