2 Master Coaching Professional Competence by Marina Osnaghi This training offers foundations, basics, and key tools to all who aim at leveraging coaching as their reference model in career and life and to all who want to become and develop as a professional coach. This program is recognized as an ACTP (Accredited Coach Training Program) by ICF International The Master Coaching Professional Competence (BASICS + ADVANCED) aims at training participants in: - Managing the coaching process in each and every step, aware of the relationship with Customers and their learning paths and respecting them; - Applying the 11 key competences in a balanced way during the coaching session and process as defined by ICF; - Growing and developing through coaching for one s own benefit and for the benefit of Customers; - Deploying structured interviews in regard to the partner s specific issues and matters; - Managing the coaching process and thus each individual s development process in a technically skilled way, i.e. leveraging specific techniques and methods as well as setting and developing long, mid, and short-term goals; - Entering a coaching contract and managing it autonomously, both for individuals and businesses. The Method trained during the Course developed by Marina Osnaghi leveraging her longlasting experience - is known as Professional Coaching and Marina still keeps on improving and enhancing it. Her major sources of inspiration were everyday life situations Marina had to cope with these last years, applying this method to her own life and working with her Customers. She also took inspiration from some masters of international renown like Carl Rogers with his theories on humanistic psychology, and Tal Ben Shahar expert in positive psychology. Marina tried to communicate her personal inspiration and life experience by transferring them in a methodology able to tangibly help people in achieving their goals and accomplishing their projects. As stated in the Master Coaching Professional Competence, Coaching is the art of accompanying individuals to reach their goal, like a dance a coach is skilled in: a coach is the expert who masters techniques, methodologies, ethic approach methods, and ways of managing a contract and a coaching relationship, while partners continuously improve their own method aimed at building steps and objectives for their dance as they most like, leveraging the catalyzing support of the coach. The mission of this Master and of the School is to train skilled coaches, accompanying each individual in his/her development process as a coach, in a growing path whose foundations lay on the regular deployment of coaching as communication method during the classroom session. Master Coaching Professional Competence by Marina Osnaghi Page 2
3 The Course includes 2 complementary levels - BASICS and ADVANCED -, 144 hours total, divided into two day modules scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays: BASICS Level 1 (7 days, 56 hours) is designed for participants who want to learn the fundamentals of coaching and do not have any past experience; ADVANCED Level 2 (11 days, 88 hours) is designed for professional (not yet certified) coaches, participants who attended the BASICS Level 1 and want to complete and enhance their grounding as well as to continue with the ICF s ACC Certification path. Moreover it is designed for Counselors or certified Coaches who want to further develop their expertise as a coach or skilled trainers and specialize in managing coaching paths, and for all those who want to achieve the ICF PCC level. This training is highly experiential as it alternates theoretical sessions with numerous practical exercises, coaching, and supervision. After completion of each level, participants have to take exams and after passing a final examination they can obtain the relevant certification. Marina Osnaghi is the Coaching and Education Manager of this course, she teaches in some of the modules and presides over the final examination. This training includes the mentoring hours required to achieve the ICF Certification. To enrich the participants experience and contact with different coaching styles - all effective from a professional point of view -, Marina alternates with other highly skilled and experienced coaches; the educational materials have all been prepared and drawn up by Marina Osnaghi and are delivered at the beginning of each level. They consist of theoretical and practical manuals. Direct access to the ADVANCED Course is possible for: - Participants who attended the BASICS level and passed the relevant final examination; - Professionals with proven skills and expertise in coaching (direct access will be approved after a preliminary interview); - ACC certified coaches who want to improve in order to attain the PCC certification; - Individuals who have already attended a coaching training during which they have learned the methodology basics as well as how to manage coaching interviews (direct access will be approved after a preliminary interview).
