1 Course Highlights Congratulations on your decision to enroll in Advanced Behavioral Analysis: Business Consulting Perspectives Online Training Course. We are confident that this course will empower you to better understand how to apply the concepts and skills of Behavioral Analysis in your consulting endeavors. As you proceed through this self-paced course, you will participate in 16 Case Studies designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of how people are motivated differently, how they communicate differently, and how their individual personality style will affect their interaction with others. You will learn how to read DISC graphs, how to interpret the results and how to apply personality style information to unlock the potential in organizations. Many coaches, trainers and consultants rely on DISC to gain immediate insight for corporate consulting and everyday human interaction. The path to successful completion of this online course is very simple: Open the file titled Advanced Behavioral Analysis Course Workbook ; once open, you will be able to download and/or print a copy. Begin by listening to the Case Study Scenario and reviewing the graphs provided in the Advanced Behavioral Analysis Course Workbook. Answer the questions about each case study and then create an action plan based on your observations. Listen to the Case Study Discussion and compare your observations to those of Sandy and his team. After completing all 16 Case Studies, complete the online Proficiency Examination. If you have correctly answered 80% or more, you may proceed by printing your Certificate of Completion in Advanced DISC Behavioral Principles for the Institute for Motivational Living. Note you will also need to complete the Evaluation Form in order to receive a passing grade.

3 Case Study Procedures PeopleKeys In order to really understand how to apply DISC in Business Consulting situations, you will be introduced to case studies. You will be given graphs and required to create reports for factious individuals using PeopleKeys Case Study Notes In this section, perform an analysis of the situation the individuals in the case studies are facing. Please make notes on the key elements of the case. Action Plan Development This section is where you will gain practice applying the information which you developed in your case study notes by formulating your own Action Plan. Take the issues raised in the scenario into consideration, and apply your knowledge of personality styles, the information from PeopleKeys reports, and skills from your consulting experience. Each of these will likely have a role to play as you develop your action plan. Case Discussion Notes In this section, you ll listen as Dr. Sandy Kulkin and his team as they provide an in-depth analysis of the graphs, and their suggestions for the Action Plan for each case study. We encourage you to take notes as you listen so you will gain the maximum insight possible. Using this approach, you ll have the benefit both of developing your own analysis and of gleaning from ours. The final step is to compare your Action Plan with that of the presenters to identify areas in which your plan might possibly be improved. Some individuals prefer to develop a bulleted Action Plan, with each of the items being a specific point. Others prefer to develop a narrative Action Plan. There is no correct method, and both are acceptable approaches to the consulting situations you may face. We have used both methodologies in developing the action plans in this course.

4 Course Format The Advanced Behavioral Analysis: is broken down into Course Elements. You must complete a course element to move onto the next element. Below is the basic format for this online course in the following order: Course Element 1: Course Introduction Read the Course Introduction.pdf (this document you are now reading). This covers the course highlights. You may want to download and print it out for future reference. Course Element 2: Advanced Behavioral Analysis Course Workbook Here you will want to download and print out the Advanced Behavioral Analysis Course Workbook. You will be provided the opportunity to answer questions in regards to specific case studies, as well as develop your action plan. Course Element 3: Case Studies Section 1/ Part 1 (56 mins, 7 secs.) Hear and view this audio-visual element that will walk you through the use of graphs and case studies that will focus on scenarios commonly found in a business environment. Part One incorporates case studies 1 through 5. Course Element 4: Case Studies Section 1/ Part 2 (44 mins, 25 secs.) Hear and view this audio-visual element that will walk you through the use of graphs and case studies that will focus on scenarios commonly found in a business environment. Part Two incorporates case studies 6 through 10. Course Element 5: Case Studies Section 2 (59 mins, 50 sec.) Hear and view this audio-visual element that will walk you through the use of graphs and case studies that will highlight scenarios that focus on family and business issues. This element incorporates case studies 11 through 16. Course Element 6: Advanced Behavioral Analysis Conclusion (8 mins, 47 secs.) Hear and view this audio-visual element that will discuss Personal Motivators, Situational Leadership and Communication.

5 Course Element 7: Advanced Behavioral Analysis Proficiency Examination Please note: You must pass this 40-question exam in order to receive your Certification. All questions are multiple choice and there is one answer per question. You may use your case notes and audio-visual sections to answer the questions. After submitting your answers, you cannot go back to change them. You must receive at least 80% correct in order to pass the exam. If you pass, please complete the CEU Course Evaluation and submit it. You have now completed the course and can view and print your Certificate by going to the My Gradebook tab at the top of the page. If you do not pass, please retake the exam until you are able to successfully pass it. If you would like to request a CEU transcript by mail, please see Course Introduction.pdf for instructions. You can revisit your exam questions and answers for 1 year after you ve successfully completed your exam. Course Element 8: ABA Course Evaluation Please fill out the nine-question Course Evaluation.
